Miller, but honestly, my resolve to go for all rounders over specialists is being heavily tested here.

Mines too but alas i have to go with Miller as well. Humblest apologies to one of the greatest pacemen of all time MM.

I'm also (still) in the allrounders over specialists camp, so with the most sincere apologies to Mr. Marshall, it's Miller for me too.

Malcolm Marshall, taking 7-53 with one hand in plaster was a pretty good achievement in my book! Greatest ever bowler IMO, comfortably supported with awesome figures.

17-13 to Marshall, and a great of the game falls at the second hurdle.

ROUND TWO ----- ----- BATTLE FOUR

SM Pollock (South Africa) (RHB, RFM)

GA Headley (West Indies) (RHB,LB)

Think I'll have to go with Headley too. The starter of a dynasty, both in terms of The Windies & The Headleys.

Pollock is a fine cricketer and has enough about him to have been able to adjust his game to still be a force despite his loss of pace over the last 2-3 years, but Headley looks to have been a titan in a largely struggling team.

Pollock continuing the trend. Again much apologies to Headley but Pollock is overall the better cricketer IMO.

Oi, no comments like that in my thread please, it's his opinion and he's entitled to it (kinda the whole point of the thread).

[Hehe, I'm kind of being a mod for just one thread :p]

Pollock . Just for the look on his face when the rain kept coming down and they were one run short of the D/L target...
