Mcgrath by a long way. To me he and Steve Waugh are the main reasons why Australia are so dominant. Though Im West Indian he's the player i most respect in current cricket.

The one thing I dont like about this thread is jameeee always brings in the old players from the 1940s and people who havent seen them play and can only judge them by their average,

Anyways I would to with mcgrath because I havent seen the other guy play.

McGrath. One of the best fast bowlers ever. One can say that about Pollock as well, unfortunately, he didn't play enough test cricket to conclusively prove it.

I can quite happily - and conclusively - say that Pollock was not one of the best fast bowlers ever :p

Pollock finished playing in 1987, when they had colour telly and everything. Granted his last Test was in 1970. If you look hard enough you might find some footage of him.
