McGrath

I haven't followed the battle from start but wasn't Bradman inlcuded because of the thought that he'd problay win ? or did he get knocked out ?
He wasn't included because it was thought he would win - hands down.

Warne

On the basis I'd much rather watch Warne bowl than McGrath (which isn't putting McGrath down), and on the basis that Warne is going to be MUCH MUCH harder to replace than McGrath.

That's a good point actually. Regardless of the comparison between bowlers, there's no question that Australia hasn't found a player of comparable ability to Warne in his discipline for many years, while McGrath has always had capable fast bowling support and there are a number of quicks in the post-war years that at least rival him.

Warne for me.

I think Aus will miss Mcgrath much more than Warne just as it was proven during last ashes.. There might be more fast bowlers coming around but non in calibre of Mcgrath and i doubt there will be many. There won't be any Warne's around either but Mcgrath's been much more effective than Warne all over and overall has had a bigger impact than Warne on the wins.

Than again it might be the indian in me speaking as indian batsman have always struggled against Mcgrath but have loved the site of warne coming on to ball. :p
