I'm going to go for Craig McDermott.

Turner's stats are great, but McDermott was my favourite bowler growing up and deserves a vote.

Have to go with Gregory. In these sort of match-ups I think it's only right & proper one backs the all-rounders as, in absolute cricketing terms, they're more useful than all but the very first water of specialists, which I think Turner & McDermott probably fall just short of.

I can't believe it, 3 of the most entertaining players to ever don the baggy green.

Mark Waugh is my favourite cricketer ever, but i can't justify picking him.

Ray Lindwall
is my choice, great bowler, handy batter.

Wow all awesome players. I really want to go with Walters, but Lindwall's record cannot be ignored so Lindwall

Ray Lindwall - Greatest ever Australian fast bowler and one of the top 5 greatest fast bowlers ever IMO. He had accuracy and masterful variety delievered in his early days at an express pace. Also a very handy batsman who would be good enough to bat seven in most test teams through history and number six in a lot of them as well.

Mark Waugh and Doug Walters are both pleasing on the eye but are not up to Lindwalls standing. Also Lindwall's batting is better than either Walter's or Mark Waugh's bowling IMO.

Possibly doing Walters & Junior a slight disservice by not including their bowling figures as both were useful part-timers, but I'm still going for Lindwall. In My Spin on Cricket Benaud brackets him as an all-rounder & Richie's a fair judge, even allowing for a slight bias towards his old NSW mucker.
