Battle of Cricketers - CW's Favorite Cricketer

EDIT: Surprised at the Crowe love, tbh. Stylish bat but always thought he was a bit of a bell end myself.
Kind of my view, but I reckon him being under-appreciated for how awesome he was probably adds to him being a favourite of a few.

Can't believe Klusener is out though. Felt he was a real good shout of pushing quite far.

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
This.

Zero love for Hussey. Mr Cricket blah blah blah sincere intense zinc creamed facial expression hour after hour in the nets blah blah yawn etc.

One of the great glories of world cricket over the past year or two has been the demolition of his weirdly inflated Test average. Good player, don't get me wrong, and without the ridiculous haircut as per Chris Cairns, but, to the non Australian observer, appealing player he ain't.
Really not sure how someone can dislike Hussey; like Jono said, a great bloke and a great team member. Fairly sure he's not a fan of the 'Mr. Cricket' nickname either.

^ Agree with the above, strange to see the Hussey-hate. That said, Son of Lance comfortably for me

Hussey.

The man has become such a huge legend in Australian cricket in so little time. That partnership with McGrath, the winning runs in Adelaide, the most amazing Twenty20 innings at the World Champs. Never lets it get to his head either. WAG.

I dare say his partnership with Siddle was greater than his partnership with McGrath?
