County deals used to be 6 months but we're changed to 12 months,to cover players, and if say a player wants to play grade in Australia,South Africa or somewhere else they have to get permission from the county. For example Glamorgan allows Michael Hogan to play for WA,he has to get their permission first, and good on Glamorgan for letting him do that.Mark Cosgrove is different he has a 3 year deal with the Redbacks, and he signed with Leicestershiire after that, don't know if leicestershire can block him for playing for the Redbacks legally.(it might end up in the courts i dunno)As far as i know Tom Cooper comes off contract for the Redbacks at the end of this season. He is a free man.
