Two changes for the Ashes, I think, gotta reward Shield runs (big Shield runs), and we have to play our second best bat, regardless of dressing room dynamics, after the batting fiascos we've seen this summer.I'd like to see (for the Ashes):
Harris
Khawaja
Smith
Burns
Patterson
Head
Paine +
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Hazelwood
Pucovski should play 2 or 3 years in shield cricket before being picked for a national team.Considering Pucovskis mental issues I’m not sure I’d want to throw him into an overseas ashes tour
He’d be on the bench though
If he dominates the back end of the shield I’d take him on the tourPucovski should play 2 or 3 years in shield cricket before being picked for a national team.
( unless he is the new Bradman of course)
All this talk of Pucovski and Sangha . . . haven't we been complaining about the whole pathways programs of Australian cricket rewarding youth instead of consistent performance? If he's still a little mental they should give a spot to Sangha.
Yeah FFS. Perhaps if they gun the rest of the season they can make the A-team, but as things stand they're at least a season off Tests. Especially Sangha. All this talk of Pucovski and Sangha . . . haven't we been complaining about the whole pathways programs of Australian cricket rewarding youth instead of consistent performance?
Fmd Sangha's made one, very arsey, Shield century. Just pick Maxwell already
Except Pucovski has a fully developed game and he's made big Shield runs. He's a significantly better bat than Finch, MMarsh and Head. The only reason why some of those kids are being mentioned is that the vast majority of comms only watch tests & bbl
It’s nonsense
Yeah this is pretty much it for most of the idiots like Warne, Waugh and co.The only reason why some of those kids are being mentioned is that the vast majority of comms only watch tests & bbl
It’s nonsense
Pretty sure Lyon was 24 when he made his debut. And Cummins came afterwards anyway.Just for the record, the last teenager we debuted in tests ended up losing his beautiful hair in the space of half a decade. Be careful to advocate for such things.
Apparently yes.Good god man, are the many exploits of Ashton Agar that forgettable?
