Don't reckon NSW can hold onto all their pacemen, surely.
With Bird gone, potentially Casson and Smith getting a CA contract they should be ok. As that is three free spots for Copeland, Clark and Bracken. Even if they decide to keep Casson, you have Greg Mail senior spot as well. Though hopefully they give that to Adam Crosthwaite.

Philip Wells, Josh Lalor, Scott Henry and James Crosthwaite would all be struggling to keep their rookie contracts so that free up spots for U19s in Tim Armstrong, Nic Maddinson and Adam Zamba. Plus keep either Henry or James Crosthwaite.

Only real question for mine would be to promote Simon Keen and give Lambert the flick or give Keen another season as a rookie and Lambert another season.

Reckon we will be pretty settled for next season. Unless someone wants to leave.

Shame to hear Rofe retiring. Never been quite the same cricketer the past two to three seasons. Achieved a solid career though, 218 wickets by the age of 29 is a good career. Hope to hear more from him on the ABC radio team, quite enjoyed his work this season.

lol @ Cullen. It seems like only yesterday he was talked up as the next Warne (of sorts).

Not surprised in some ways, Dan Cullen barely got a shot in recent times so was always vulnerable. Still disagree with picking Bailey over him, though.

To be honest, the squad did need an arse-kicking. Just came a season too late.

The age has said beau casson released.
Flaming bail forum has said nick jewell retire to concentrate on coaching, good news for rob quiney or mark cosgrove.

We'll take Cossie if he's made to walk from Adelaide to Perth...

But no, he'd be a good pick up for the Warriors. This might be the kick up the arse he needs, and it would add a lot to a pretty ordinary batting lineup.

Surprising. Was under the impression he's more of a charcoal chicken/chips man myself.

Yeah agree with all of this, especially the squad revamp bit which I think was needed. Not sure how I feel about Cosgrove leaving but I'm not as angry as before and it might be good for the club. Ferguson as captain should be interesting to.

Don't think Bailey should even play next season tbh, Even though Culllen is better he shouldn't play either ( unless he gets back to his best ) they just don't perform..

Hopefully Adelaide isn't so much of flat slow track next season either, it just doesn't help at all. Good to see Cleary got a contract aswell :)

Hopefully we can recruit well for next season.

Mate, it'd be nice but it must be tough for the groundsman. Adelaide's weather is incredibly dry so the best you can do to make it a bit more sporting would be to let it dry out a bit more. Would make scoring very difficult and only give the pitch more slow spin, I'd imagine. Either that or they could water the **** out of it, I guess. A green Adelaide deck would be fun.
