No news but not been on the net, good tv tonight plus the budget reply will check tomorrow kyle, bit tired .
No CA going for regions they wouldn't go with australia country xl,good idea tho.
Canberra seems way behind the other bidders will be an interesting next 12 months.
You never know if a country xl is good enough a player or 2they may get a call up,someone handy like graham batty from wollongong, altho his form he is likely to end up in sydney next year.

Haha Batty. Have played with and against him. Have got him out and he's bombed me out the ground. Good times.

Doubt he'll go to Sydney, on good coin here.

Fantastic opportunity for McDonald. Loved training with him at Gordon, hopefully it works out for him in SA. Was only a matter of time before he went interstate really, a leggie with stats and ability.

Going back to the Cosgrove move to Tasmania.

Big coup for Tasmania. Bar a couple of strong performers, the Tasmanian batting lineup has been a shambles the past few years. Suddenly looks very solid with a cricketer who is guaranteed to score 500+ runs.

I belong to the view that Cosgrove has the talent to play Test cricket. Needs to show something in the next couple of seasons though.

The 2nd round contracts are up on the aca site there appears to be no more additions in the other squads,as is first round,so a lot of players missing out on contracts.
No worries there are heaps of other news round anyway.
Have heard a rumour nathan rimmington will be in the aussie A squad, not sure if it named yet.
We will see.
Poor dom:unsure:

He'd only be in the one day and T20 sides though surely? He's got a good record in those formats but hasn't done much of note in first class cricket.

Y no Afghanistan flag
Does anyone think that NSW will play both Clark and Bracken in the same NSW team again?
I don't think Stu Clark will play any limited overs matches and Bracken will not be used in the 4 day matches, unless injuries hit.

What order would everyone rate: Cameron, ****ley, Copeland, Hazlewood and Starc in both OD and First Class matches?

Yep, he would be absolutely no chance of making the 4 day A side. Looking forward to seeing who is selected in these matches.

Clark will be NSW captain next summer so you'd think he will play in the one dayers. Can't see Bracken sneaking ahead of ****ley, Hazlewood, Copeland or Clark for a 4 day spot either.

Still waiting to hear is Brett Lee will play the 4 day stuff as well, so could be a pretty strong stock if everyone can get back to / stay fully fit.

Could you give me the link to the 2nd round contract list on the CA site? Thanks.

Looking forward to the Australia A squad being named soon to, would be awsome if it was on TV.

Kyle do a yahoo/google search on the australian cricket association, the contract list is on there.
Sorry the link doesn't work on it.
As i said last year brakken is done with 4 dayers,he and lee cannot make it through a 4 day game, and then there is a question of effectiveness.
****ley, hazelwood and copeland are the nsw bowlers selectors looking at guess them.
2nd xl will be strong next year warner, casson, rohrer, starc, henriques in there.

Yeah, I found the ACA thing and it had a list of the 1st round contract list but not the 2nd round list but it did say something about the 2nd round list being up soon. Doesn't really matter though.

The australia A series will clash with the australia -england one dayers as well as the 2 t20's between pakistan and australia, and thats round 23-24 players which can't play.
The likes of cam white, dan christian, adam voges, clinton mckay, steve smith, dave hussey will be unavailable.
Will be hard to pick an aussie A team if you listen to hildich the likes of peter forrest and usman khawajah may get a run, maybe a return for luke ronchi.
The A games don't clash with the 2 pakistani tests so hilfy right for the A series if fit.

Where'd you hear that about Usman, brockley? Good to see that he's being considered though, WAG.

Hildich said this a while ago khawajah and forrest we're nominated along with fergurson and voges as good young bats in the country, who will be unavailable for the A series, fergo still in rehab.

Oh forgot bailey too,but he could be in the one day or t20 side too.
He said it a few months ago at the end of the season.

Expecting to see George, Bailey, Klinger, Usman, Ferguson and all the usuals in the side, where is the series being played at?

brockley

International Captain
Fergo in rehab not available to september.
I think ab oval in brisbane.
2 4 dayers,3 one dayers and a 20/20.
Good chance for a luke ronchi comeback, wonder where he will bat.
Yeh george a shoe in

Surely Chris Hartley and Mathew Wade would be above Ronchi? I'd pick Wade personally but he and Hartley may be unavailable for some reason.

Brockley, are you sure Ferguson is still in rehab? where did you hear this from? I'm pretty sure he has resumed pre season training with the redbacks now IIRC. I wouldn't be suprised if he isn't in the Aus A team as he probably has batted in a long time.
