He's really a great example of how irrelevant this competition is. Absolutely dominates it like no-one ever has and is always passed over for Big Bash heroes when there's an ODI spot open. I suppose it's still theoretically good for their development to play the format even if the selectors don't care about the performances in it, but it's absolutely on life support.

Definitely out I reckon. Been some dubious umpiring for sure. Maxwell got fired for one that looked FAR less out than that so I guess I can't really complain, but what it is is consistently inconsistent

Probably fair too, Matthias is on dayboo and probably only averages about 30ish for Sturt anyway. Did make a nice 87 for the SACA 2nds recently though. Think what you said a couple of weeks back about looking to a 5 man attack if Johnson was playing may be on the money

Manenti and McAndrew batting so well this season definitely makes it more feasible.
