Seriously think Starc needs a season of IPL. Not for the money or coz it will make him a better red ball bowler, but the guy needs to feel like he is the world's best and his team completely depends and banks on him, IMO. It might help him feel better mentally, like how a season of county can make some players feel when they are out of form.

I'd been fairly happy to ignore Maddo's runs the last couple of seasons so far because MCG and Junction Oval runs in that period don't really count, but he's making me rethink that a bit in this game.

The pitch is far better than the scores would make it seem but it's certainly no road, and he's faced an excellent attack who (Starc aside) have bowled really well.
