Unlucky for Blacktown this Saturday. 1/SFA chasing 300 and Parra getting Dermo Abbott back from the Shield side.

NSW playing the test attack this weekend. Hope they all get through it ok.

All eyes should be on NSW vs WA this weekend which is basically Australia vs Australia A. NCN and Stoinis won't be playing for WA but Klinger is an adequate replacement and Kelly / Mackin / Behrendorff is a nasty attack in and of itself.

Klinger has gone to play in the BPL. Shame, means WA will pick someone who didn't average 20 last season

(tbf, this squad is basically what they should be lining up with in the OD comp)

Looking for a no 7 for NSW,look no further.
We haven't had a decent 7 since Grant Lambert, but that might change.
Darren Sams.
Playing for Canterbury NZ on loan batting at 7 he has scored 49 and 88,first innings he opened the attack and took 3/48 from 25 overs and 9 maidens.
Tomorrow is the last day with Canterbury a chance to win the game.

Follow on tomorrow and see if he takes a bag.
Copeland,Abbott and O'keefe who's batting has declined as he has got older, have failed to make an impact the last 2/3 years, this could be a chance to blood someone and stick to a decent no 7.
What about Parram Uppal with his batting and spin-bowling ? Obviously got the u19 WC on his agenda though.

I'm pretty sure Cowan is down at the local B3 side asking for a game. "Mate we know how good you are but Jeff's boy here is on the verge of A3 selection so we have no space in the XI for you. We do need a square leg umpire though."

Uppal needs time, did not have a good JLt Tournament.
2nd Sams is a speedster opened the attack for Canterbury.
Next Plunkett round before 3rd Sheffield Shield,so might play another game, and no Futures' League on next week,we have the bye.

Lehmann launching what seems to be the next episode in his series of innings rescues for SA so far in his short career.

S.Kennedy

International Vice-Captain
He has been around the block a bit, Christian, hasn't he? Three Shield sides, four English counties and some bashy clubs also.
