Australian Domestic Season 2017/18

Hope we keep a Bird or a Chadd in the squad just in case the Adelaide pitch is extra green.

Interesting question is who comes in if a quick goes out? Obivously if it was Adelaide D/N probably one of the above, but on a pacier wicket you'd be tempted to go with Coulter-Nile or Behrendorff. With some early season wickets, Boland, Tremain, Mennie, even Siddle could all be in the discussion

I see Trent Copeland is still taking wickets, I remember he had a lot of backers on here around 2010 or so. How has he been doing since then? He never really got a look in, did he?

I see. I guess they could have given him a home series to stake a claim some time around 2011 or 2012.

Tasmania seem to have an all-weather attack with Bird and Rainbird.

look it's not the end result they wanted but I'm sure we'd all agree it's good to see tasmania performing above exceptions

As a South African peering over the fence, what's up with Chadd Sayers? Why does he never get a go in test matches? (Or in domestic list a?)

He's a red ball specialist.

As for him not playing Tests....most of the time there hasn't really been a spot, the only time you could really say he was unlucky was for the 2nd/3rd Tests against your lot last year. It's not like Australia has had a shortage of quicks playing during his career.

Joe Mennie having a baggy green instead of the Chadd isn't a definition of justice I'm familiar with.

Of course if Sayers had planned ahead like Mennie and been born in NSW he probably wouldn't have missed out.
