Abbott gone too now (and Starc FFS). Hopefully Hazelwood hangs around with Sok for a bit.

Moz had a great chance to put a stake in the ground with a ton but he fluffed it again.

State Captain
Henriques hasn't scored a ton before, still seems to be lacking that application but at least he's making some runs now.

Charging along at 2 runs an over. Guess you're right.
errrm he was going at 3.33 and Vic at 4rpo when I wrote that. Sok must have felt he was doing a great job too cause he ripped him off after 3 overs...

... jus saying.

Yeah getting smashed.

DLF Maximums all over.
4 an over is a pretty fair clip in any 4 day game. When you've struggled to 200 in your innings doubly so. We're going to get hammered if this partnership is allowed to keep going for much longer at this rate. We just don't have the runs to defend.

I get twisted satisfaction out of seeing Tasmania fail with the bat. They need to be taught that you can't get away with starting your tail at 6, and it just doesn't anywhere near enough for my liking. A shame it had to be Queensland to exploit it, but I'll take it.

I think you have to give Queensland credit for their impressive turn around. Boof must be doing something right up there because a not dissimilar side to this was a rabble last year. Of course I hope it all falls in a screaming heap soon, but well done to them on stepping up.

I do agree about the length of the Tassie tail, Faulkner is a spot too high, but if that's the best you've got then you have to go with that I suppose.

So, the fact it doesn't happen that often and that they won a Shield with this side does nothing to change your prior assumption that they just shouldn't select a team light-on in batting no matter the balance/conditions?

Interesting.

EDIT: No wait, the other thing.
