Australian Domestic Season 2011-12

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
Queensland move from 0/150 to 10/287. I didn't watch the innings so possibly good bowling from Tasmania, however that is an epic collapse.

Doesn't look like that shocking a collapse, tbh. Lower order got blown away a bit, but otherwise it just looks a fairly insipid performance.

Pete George has hit the ground running a bit this year, wickets on The Runway will do his selection chances absolutely no harm whatsoever. Good ****.

'Tis a fascinating article. Sheds some light on why he often looks to be bowling worse than his wickets column shows, as in the end the only person whose opinion actually matters is the batsman's.

For once I agree with you. We can't make a habit of it though.

Butts also picked up another 3 away from Bellerive, so good to see the next in line pacemen putting pressure on the incumbents.

Blues 5/122 at Lunch

Moz on 47 and Nevill 7. Kat feathered one from Ronnie.

Still a long way to go to have something worthwhile to bowl at, but 220+ might not be too bad in the overcast conditions in Sydney.

Kat not having the Summer he and most others were hoping for.

Was hoping he'd have a summer like Blewett for SA in 1998 after he got dropped from the Test team (1000 runs before Christmas).

With Kat's poor start to the Summer, and Hughes cementing his place, I think the fire will soon go out in that hairy belly of his.

it's only 3 innings into the season FFS. Plenty of time for him to make a pile of runs.

(but I do hope he gets cracking soon).

Moz with back to back 50s is making me almost start to like seeing his name on the sheet.
