Yes he did perform badly(as if everyone else didn't), but dont you think yesterdays uncomfortable win was due to the batsmen playing with complacency ?maybe that tag of Pakistan being a one man team (Shoaib Ahktar) is coming true. He's been smashed even by Kenya.
I would love to see you try and justify that..maybe that tag of Pakistan being a one man team (Shoaib Ahktar) is coming true.
I know, he was so injured that he was playing for Lashings all summer! As for Akhter, he has just recovered from injury.
I never tipped SA - Aus are more consistent, which is why they're favs - and their players peak higher than othersOn what basis then u have tipped Aus/Sa as the fav's for the next WC????
As aboveWhy is the winning ratio of team like Aus/SA and Pak higher than other team???
Which is why individual match/series results count for little...On their day even Zimb and Kenya can create an upset BUT they can't go all the way and win a major tournament.
You've still got to give Hayden and Gillespie credit though...AS for Pak's loss, they are like that, hot and cold team, they were not outplayed by Aus BUT rather lost to themselves. The bowlers bowled like rookies, and without Inzi and Youhanna they were never really in the match!
"I think before the series the media were saying to Waqar that Pakistan were a one man team with Shoaib, and in some cases it could be true"When did I ever post about Pakistan in the Morroco Cup?
I dont think any of my remarks have failed to acknowledge Pakistan's shortcomings, but the 'fact' that pakistan is a one man team is a bit hard to gulp downim sorry but if you cannot face the facts about this side like others have to with their teams then theres something wrong.
