I dont think my team is there :P
13 teams means one has a bye each round (it also means a lot of work for me over the next few weeks!)

The points system is 6 for a win, 2 for a draw and 2 for first innings lead when not winning the match.

pskov

International 12th Man
MoYo with a crucial 153 not out knock in the second innings setting up the win and Hadlee with 9 wickets in the match.

Ah, thats fair enough. By the way, list my bowling lineup like this:

Hall
Larwood
Murali
Lock
Hammond
Sehwag

Haydos gun, hopefully Goddard bowls a bit more and I get the full advantage of 5 genuine bowlers.

Round 2

Don't expect results as frequently as this throughout the Tournament but I've managed to get another 6 done quite quickly so here goes!

Another great result for my team. Must of been a dog of a pitch though. The scorecard looks close to something you'd find in the 1800's

Haha, all out for 62 and 100 - whilst my bowling attack's making good use of the bowling friendly conditions, its clearly taking a while for the batsmen to adjust! 10 more wickets in the match for Lohmann justifying his value too.

Who's team is the Honest Hunks by the way? Waqar Younis with 9/75 in the second innings of their match against Pskov.

Wasn't much in it tbh. If not for Kanhai in my first innings...
Helps that I have such a good bowling unit too.

I think the Honest Hunks belong to honestbharani btw

Great performance by my team. An innings and 97 runs victory. Larwood, Hall and Murali is looking like quite a potent combination.

EDIT: Have to say, many of the games played this round look like they would have been classics.

Bradman plus 10 is a very apt name IMO.

Purple Monkey Dishwasher's juggernaught continues..

Whatever it takes!!!
How the hell did my openers NOT go for a target of 180 something in 50 overs? 165/0 sounds suspiciously like a fixed game off 50 overs when all we needed was 20 odd more runs.. :(

Waqar, Holding and the other bowlers gun as usual and Watson repaying the faith, but score a bit quicker Watto!!! You are supposed to be the aggressive opener.. :(

They did go for it, but with a defeat on the cards Hadlee and Ramadhin spread the field and made no attempt to go for wickets - couldn't pierce the gaps even on full aggression.
