Current side:

Trying to mould Denly into a class number 3 because Follett just seems to fail when he bats there. Sales is first choice keeper, but he got injured in the first innings last game, which meant Sean Ervine had to keep the whole game. Trying to make Dexter into a class all-rounder to fill the void left by Irani's retirement. All in all a pretty gun side that should take home the CC.

Had a really good season - came 1st in CC, 1st in PL, 1st in T20, lost in the final of CT. It was a pretty good team performance, everyone picked up the slack. Chester & Bates were called up to the England squad, and had solid starts

My recent acquisitions:

Wasn't very keen on Dalrymple, but I had plenty of leftover money and he'll add a bit of depth. Blakemore is already England contracted and has played Tests and ODIs

Damnit, Michael Lumb just retired for me at the end of 2016 and I didn't get a chance to grab a screenshot of his efforts

He did pass 16,000 FC and 10,000 OD runs before he retired, though. He was my number 4 batsman in both forms since I first took over at Yorkshire, and captain since 2007.

He will be sorely missed and hard to replace in the battingline up. Currently experimenting with Orton at 4, who hasn't had the best time opening of late. He started out opening, then went to 3 with considerable success, but shifted back to open after Jaques went walkabouts overseas, and went alright until the last two seasons.

In his first match at 4 he scored 140

We had another pretty successful season, winning the CC, the PL and the CT - though getting whipped in the Twenty20s. Roach was injured with 2 FC games to go - robbed tbh. Ames was also in cracking form at the start of the season, then got a broken arm and was out for 8 weeks. But anyway - some fair gunnage there - Jadhav, Crook, Watson, etc

just stick with 05 for now until the 07 one comes out like im doing

anyways into my season

this season was one of my worst with the team only winning the NL got 2nd in the CC and got too the SF of the CT and had my worst season in the 20/20 not even making it out of the group stages

Only a couple of stand outs from the batting department first of all Jack Bloom finally back in England colours to i might add

Glenn Johnston was a buy in the off season (and a very expensive one at that) he was only going to come in when batsmen were injured but got a start when Bloom got picked and after he got in to he cemented his place in the team

but oddly enough this season there were no real stand out's from the bowlers which my team are home to 3 bowlers and the allrounder of the england team

Probably my best opening partnership for a List A. Actually a little annoyed they didn't get past 300, but I'll settle for this total defend.

Wise on List A debut as well. Pretty good innings from the youngster.
