Looks like I'm not going to get the three days receipts. Got bowled out for 615 before lunch, then bowled them for 58 right now they are 6/38. Forgot to change the follow on option.

knocked over trafalgar for 201. got through to 0/78, before stumbling, losing 2 wickets in two balls. with trafalgar given a sniff. but duggan (114*) and morrison (66*) rose to the moment seeing us through to 2/224 in 40 overs.

the majority of my 1st xi are playing this match, but i suspect this will be one of the few first class matches where i am this committed. whilst rebuilding my side, i want to have a real good crack at getting side up the ranks in one day form of the game, preferably, building a good challenge at promoting to I.1. i can't say i've warmed to the first class match yet. oh well.

I bought a 17yo with woeful stamina, resp/woeful batting and med/med bowling for 27k. Maybe a bowling allrounder will fetch a bit more but you probably won't get too much. Seems like people pay massive premiums for YPs with decent secondaries, not just the primary.

Very happy with the progress so far, and really surprised with the batting. He has a masterful seam attack... Woodward is an ex-Aus NT bowler (wages of £75k), Collins is an ex-Aus U19 bowler (£65k), and he has another £17k bowler, and a £5k bowler.

On track to win my first Div 3 game, and my OD fixture looks pretty winnable too
