Craziest match, wanted it to last at least 2 days, doesnt look like it will though.

The openers didn't really hang around very long. Siyabonga and Dhindsa grinding out some runs.

Matjhatjhametse 14-4-29-2
Wilberforce* 8 (20 balls)
Fordham 0 (5 balls)

Dhinners just got out, so hopefully these two can build a new partnership. Batting long today, with Pullers at 8.

RTDAS
Struggling here, only Elmes stood up and scored 140* out of a team total of 209 in 63 overs. My bowlers are getting carted around now, the 'willow wielders' are 1-121 as we speak.

PY

International Coach
Going way too fast towards my declaration target for my liking. Will be at 500 within 65 overs at this rate. Need the money from full 3 days so not happy if I bowl them out once and put them back in.

4/524 at the end of play against a bot with my B team. I thought they were a bit better than that to be honest. Going for the three days gate receipts as well.

I didn't realise the impact from the members confidence drop was so big. Only $33k in receipts, whereas it was $60k+ per day in FC last season. I'll have to GFI my OD game to try and get a win against the former Div. IV side with international players.

You'll Never Walk Alone
Day One

Brackenhurst - 401/4 off 110 overs
Read 11 (26)
Burnip 194 (302)
Bardle 82 (249)
Hamlin 60 (60)
Browne 24* (27)
Hindle 1* (3)

Apart from Hamlin, am very pleased with that. Burnip is a FC run-making machine. It's a flat deck, and we're both batting teams, so I might just go on batting tomorrow to make sure it lasts the three days and to conserve bowler energy.

EDIT: Awesome application by Bardle at 3.

Selected most of my best bowlers in an attempt to blast out a rubbish side early doors, but it's not really happening like that. 8 maidens, one boundary and an extra bring us to:

End of Over 9 (Maiden). Pokemon: 5-0, runrate=0.56
Oleary 5-5-0-0
Mckinlay* 0 (26 balls)
Kenworthy 4 (28 balls)

Riveting. So instead I have been mostly watching this, again and again.

Yeah, my game is equally as boring

End of Over 18 (1 runs). Essex Eagles: 25-0, runrate=1.39
Turner 9-2-11-0
Andre* 14 (69 balls)
Wali 9 (40 balls)

Wait, Woods just got the breakthrough

18.1 W Woods to Andre
Oh yes! Superb delivery from Woods, pitched outside off stump and swung in late, Andre shouldered arms and is mystified to see his off pole knocked out the ground. Quite simply an unplayable ball.

Finally...

And of course, my bowlers are conceding so few runs that they're not coming off at the end of their spells, so my PFL-saving plan is shafted. Brilliant. At least now there's been a wicket or two:

End of Over 23 (Maiden). Pokemon: 7-3, runrate=0.30
Oleary 12-12-0-1
Foster* 0 (15 balls)
Henry 0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Kenworthy Run Out 4 (FOW: 7/3)

That's 21 maidens out of 23. GET OLEARY OFF, FOR THE LOVE OF *$%^ING GOD!

Whats this Score? Is this cricket or Hockey.. It seems 23 minutes gone 7 to 3 goals

Oh, stop whinging -- if the innings finishes early, the bowlers'll get the rest they need.

I'm 114/4 after 38, with Sandwith and a woefully out of form McGregor in -- one more wicket and the tail's exposed. I'll be lucky to hit 150, never mind get a bonus point.

Anyone want this player, I got too many players in my squad now and I can't seem to sell him on the transfer market. Will be fired before saturday if no one is interested.

Look, if I don't whinge, how are the Australians going to maintain their Pom-stereotypes? It's all very well whinging when you're 139-8, but where's the achievement in that? ;)

(Seriously, though, that sucks. Got to hope for the legendary asymmetric FC innings, I s'pose...)

Tell me about it. Think it was 148ao in the end.

Games between Rickmansworth and my lot have been seriously unpredictable -- last time, he won despite managing only one bonus point, compared with loads for me. I won't be giving up hope until the fat lady starts warbling.

Coating along quite nicely after a getting them out reasonably cheaply..

Essex Eagles: 208/10 (106.4) Woods 4/36 (29.4)
The Heath CC: 13/0 (3)

Finally got Essex Eagles out just before the close, with the last 5 wickets falling for 11 runs. Slightly alarmed that Turner and Woods weren't more potent but then it was a sunny day. Will look to make 400 tomorrow and then hopefully bowl them out more cheaply second time round to win by an innings.

Magrat Garlick

Rather Mad Witch
Carib Beer XI 258 all out (76.4)
McGhee 82, Christo 72*; Rock 4/26 (12)

Dynamo Morpork 121 for one (33)
James 57*, Crouch 36

A BT-collapse helped me somewhat; my newly-remarkable Rock removed the 6, 7 and 8 in four balls before tea, and the opponent lost seven wickets for 36. Christo, their best batsman by far, was left hanging. Crouch has seen off the new ball well - the game plan will now be very similar to that employed by the Cantium-dweller above.
