Dead Badger

State 12th Man
Someone's been smoking something while adding commentary lines again:

Quick single, nicely run by Janes. He's one part whippet, that man. By that I mean he's fast, of course, not that he has undescended testicles which I understand is common in that breed. Though if he gets hit in the box, he may be two parts whippet.

Cricketer Of The Year
Hahaha.

I had a big win in my FC game today:

The Night Owls 356ao from 103.4 overs
Halliday 131
Gothard 80
Mcmillan 4/71
Mullis 3/45
Mulholland 2/50

Anchormen 4/360dec from 94 overs
Gray 161*
Mcmillan 116
Montgomery 2/49

The Night Owls 60ao from 28.5 overs
Fairweather 29
Mulholland 3/8
Mullis 3/12
Mcmillan 2/20

Anchormen 2/58 from 20.1 overs
Gray 33*
Faulds 1/11

Anchormen win by 8 wickets.

The old guard, in Gray (161* & 33* and 4 dismissals) and Mcmillan (116 and 4/71 & 2/20) leading the way! And to think, I was considering selling them. :p That makes it 5/5 for Div 2 FC so far, 25 points ahead of 2nd. Incredible start really. I'm not getting ahead of myself but with a bit of luck I could conceivably find myself in Div 1 next season

My last two wins (against two top 4 sides) have come without my #1 bowler as well. Good signs.

Well, this is fairly rubbish:

End of Over 25: 69-9, runrate=2.76, reqrunrate=7.20 (248-3)
Zammit 3-1-4-1
Marriott* 8 (9 balls)
Pead 4 (27 balls)
Last Wicket: Piercy c. Gallop b. Zammit 0 (FOW: 63/9)

I'm not going to be troubling the top half of div III for too long, then.

Dead Badger

State 12th Man
Looks like I'm set to lose my third competitive match in a row; first time that'll have happened since season 5, when I'd just started playing. Boo.

End of Over 27: 153-2, runrate=5.67, reqrunrate=4.48 (255-6)
Marriott 7-0-41-0
Hassall* 63 (71 balls)
Craddock 12 (14 balls)
Last Wicket: Van blerk Run Out 54 (FOW: 112/2)
