Not bad PY, you gonna keep him?

Anyway, what are you guys doing for FC orders in terms of orders?
For temperment, I'm going defensive, normal, normal, normal, attacking, defensive, attacking, normal, v attacking, v defensive, v defensive. For bowlers, I've got attacking (RM), normal (LFM), defensive (RM), defensive (spin), v defensive (spin).

Still a bit undecided on the spell length- ATM I've got the biggest spell being 12 overs for a spinner, while my second opener only has 6, due to his woeful stamina.

Also, what's your take on bowling priority? I've got a parttimer who I'd like to have a few overs, but I'm afraid that if I put him on priority 6, he'll have his spells as often the other 5 bowlers. For this game, I'm putting him on priority 9, while my bowlers go up to 5, just to see what happens.

Orders are OK now, cup orders submitted before 1700 BST yesterday are fine.
I'd still check if I were you though.

I submitted mine 2 or 3 days back and had a check and they'd been messed up.

I've got a fairly easy match (but not a complete walkover) so I'll be messing around with the orders a bit to try work a few things out. Will try all the orders (v. defensive to v. attacking) to see if there's any significant difference. I'm using a proficient/worthless batsman as an opener to see if he can still do well despite having no secondaries, though I suspect he'll only be good for 30-odd runs.

Not really planning on having anyone in long spells, using a lot of bowlers in short spells to try conserve the fitness of my main players. I'm going to give a couple of feeble bowlers two-over spells as well (Cuss :p). I'm keeping my good players down the order mostly, hoping they won't have to do too much batting. I'm worried that if I set Cuss to open he'll hit 250* and lose a lot of fitness, will be interesting to see what the fitness hits are like. Resting Watkins.

Jungle Jumbo

International Vice-Captain
I haven't got a clue about how to go about the FC game so I'll put my side down, and we
can compare strategies.

(stamina/primary/secondary), batting order, bowling order and details

Delhi Bulls v Zebras

1 Jon Lloyd (med/com/med; RS aby/fee), normal, normal, 10, 4-1-6
2 Rajanikant Islam (com/pro/aby), defensive
3 Saurav **** (c) (pro/str/pro), normal
4 Natraj Ahmed (woe/com/com), defensive
5 Arun Ahmed (fee/com/fee; LF com/fee), normal, defensive, 3, 7-4-4.5
6 Zia Ghandi (res/com/woe), attacking
7 Faisal Lal (woe/med/med; RM com/fee), normal, normal, 6, 6-3-5
8 Aruna de Mel (wk) (fee/woe/pro), very attacking
9 Chandresh Singh Lali (com/aby/woe; RM res/med), normal, attacking, 1, 8-4-4.5
10 Gurudas Ghandi (med/aby/woe; RM com/med), normal, normal, 2, 7-4-4.5
11 Ashwatthama Singh (fee/aby/wor; LS res/med), normal, normal, 4, 15-4-5

1st Innings Declaration: 450
2nd Innings Declaration: Not yet entered
Toss: Bat
Enforce Follow On

Basically I'll rotate the three main seamers, with Ashwatthama then coming on and operating from the other end for a while. Faisal Lal will provide some additional support, and Lloyd's very average off-spin is there if required.

I presume we get to enter the 2nd innings declaration at the close of play?

Thoughts?

Both are fairly close I reckon, but the first guy should be there pretty soon.
how do you tell?

and how do you tell somethin like - "12 stamina, 12 batting, 11 conc. Disappointed."

Is it more important to look at the batting and bowling or the concentration and consistency.. even though both work side by side?
