Here's my team in squad order, the bits you can pretty much work out anyway - the primaries:

Code:
[b]Player[/b] [b]Age[/b] [b]BTR[/b] [b]Batting[/b] [b]Bowling[/b] [b]WK[/b]
Shields 24 6205 respectable
Packer 21 12975 proficient
Dillon 18 12661 respectable mediocre
Armstrong 18 19937 competent competent
Weaver 20 4430 respectable
Maxwell 22 3786 respectable competent
Callery 19 4414 mediocre
Cooper 29 3731 feeble competent
Cahalane 19 8410 woeful respectable
Street 23 5700 abysmal competent
Howlett 19 8320 abysmal competent
Throughout the team the secondaries and stamina are pretty good, not a brilliant team but solid. Have plenty of money in the bank to cream interest off of and the division I'm in the only way I'll leave it is if I get relegated, so not particularly fussed in the short term anyway. Packer, Dillon, Armstrong and Cahalane should be in the team for quite a few seasons.

Oh btw does anyone know what sort of pitch conditions would support my batting depth and nullify gun bats to an extent, all the bowler friendly ones I've seen so far still seem to have the gun bats scoring 100s on them.

Only pitch that consistently nullifies batsmen is cracked. On all other bowling pitches (uneven, slow, green, dusty) I've seen plenty of 300+ scores in matches involving evenly-matched teams.

Tar for all that guys, I've decided to play as normal in my Cup match. I know the only thing to gain from the Cup is money - But I'm running a capitalist venture here, so I'm afraid my players are just going to have to give that little bit extra in pursuit of the God Pounds. Plus I figured that sooner or later I'm going to run up against a team who are going to beat me like a street ho in a crack house, so that will be the time to TIE and get a fitness boost for the league. BTW, is there any kind'a equation to work out how many financial advisers to higher according to your bank balance? I've got around 300k in the bank, and would like to accrue some interest on it before expanding my ground. Also, I'm wondering if I'd be better off collecting the interest or investing the money in my ground and harvesting the increased gate receipts?

With regards to the spinning all-rounder situation, I've taken a 12k punt on a 17yo med bat med bowl with w-less secondaries, think it must have been one of the peculiar brand of YPs knocking around this week. Anyway, if I get him then all well and good, you can't really go wrong for 12k! I'll train him up and hopefully he can do a job - But I'm not all that fussed if I don't, I'm not prepared to pay much more than that for him - And I wouldn't be telling all of you about him if I really wanted him:-)

Later, Trev

Now that I've got some cash from selling Berry I can finally afford to buy someone decent. Looking at this guy but I don't think he'll end up within my price range:
Code:
 Shaun Arthur (52427)
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, strong batting form, strong bowling form, sublime
A steady player with respectable leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For:	Shandys Pandies
Nationality:	England
Age: 22 Years Old
Battrick Rating:	13,480
Wages:	£3,548 p/w

Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: woeful
Bowling: superb Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: feeble
Decent allrounder who doesn't need further training. He's at 495k already, the team with the highest bid at the moment is the team I'm playing next week, so I hope he doesn't get him. I'd prefer a batsman since I'm one short after selling Berry, but there are virtually no decent guys on the market, and whenever there's a superb with secondaries they get listed for two million or something ridiculous.

Still after another bowler, preferably two. Need a spinner though. Batting is sorted, with one batsmen set to pop to strong soon, and two others to proficient

I'll be saving up the 40, but I'm still waiting to see how much effect they have first from other people on the sledging boards.

Not sure whether it was a bug or not, but I was able to test a YP just now, and I had 5 ITSs. Put them all on batting, and he went up to feeble (17 yo).

Apparently you can also save up to 100 - I was just saying I'll probably unleash it all on 40, because you can't put any more than 12 on a single skill.
