Most players still have close to sublime fitness even with two matches a week, and friendlies do bring in some cash as well (around 8k per week for me), so I'd still stick with them, even if you're just playing a second XI (which I'll probably do most of the time anyway). It's not really an issue now while the cup is on though.

I wasn't expecting it either. Think I'm not going to let Wheeler bowl anymore though...

I had all my bowlers on very attacking just to see what happens, think I may have to rethink that.

Don't really get why people think friendlies are a waste of time, the fitness hit is minimal and it keeps the form up for the other players.

Oh and someone bid 450k for Emmanuel... woohoo.

New opening bowler (my only proficient) 4-0-38-2 - or maybe he shouldn't be on very attacking!

Well into the binary slog overs (all 1s and 0s). Wishful thinking earlier when I thought they might have tweaked it, still the same nonsense barely scoring 80 in 10 when you've got tons of wickets in hand and you're not losing many wickets.

Yes, first time I've tried to bowling through with my one opener - he usually takes 7 then came back for 3 - meant that Bissell came on at a slightly different time - good job he did really!

And at least I know not to attack with Middleton!

Well was a bit worried when i failed to make 300 (291-3) seeing as the guys press releases stated that his bowling was rubbish compared to his batting.
