Yep, cue people moaning about bigger clubs with more money getting an extra advantage out of it... the absurdity of all.

Is this a bug? You currently have 0 intensive training sessions (ITS) to allocate to a new player.
i think you accumulate them - i.e if you invest 20,000 in a week you get 10 intensive training sessions

I think a lot of the 'bigger' clubs (i.e. mainly the first-season ones) are getting screwed over by the new youth system. There have been reports of people spending 30k on repairs to boost their academy condition from proficient to superb, while teams who have invested the max amount since day one have spent close to 400k to get their academy to that level.

Don't seem to be able to promote anyone this week, will be interesting to see how it goes next week then. Hopefully the new bowling and fielding orders will be introduced shortly, looking forward to those.

i wouldn't say its 'bigger club' i've invested in my youth team since the start and got it up to superb, so smaller clubs who looked too youth are being screwed aswell

Definitely, will wait for others to say how much the 'certain amount of improvement' for 30k is. I do find it amusing tho every time there's some change a load of people moan about it helping the big clubs with the money...

Typically lame end to Emmanuel's playing career with Scaly Piscine CC:

Code:
[B]29.6 . Emmanuel to Field [/B]
Forward defensive push by Field. Fielded at cover, no run.
[B]29.5 4 Emmanuel to Field [/B]
Excellent shot from Field. No real power just technique and timing. Finds the gap and it goes for four with ease.
[B]29.5 nb1 Emmanuel to Summers [/B]
no ball, Nicely flicked around the legs, deep fine leg running wide to field.
[B]29.4 3 Emmanuel to Field [/B]
Field pounces on a poor delivery and the ball is racing away. Packer stops it just inside the ropes.
[B]29.3 . Emmanuel to Field [/B]
Short of length ball, Field goes back to defend, gets the inside edge onto the pads, Emmanuel runs in to avoid the single.
[B]29.2 . Emmanuel to Field [/B]
The ball cuts back like a lawnmower! Through the gate and over the stumps. Field gets lucky with that one.
[B]29.1 1 Emmanuel to Summers[/B]
Clean strike, but picks out mid off.

Damn, playing my second XI in the friendly, thought my opponent was going to play his second XI as well since he'd done so in previous friendlies. Turns out he didn't (although he rested his national team player at least) so I'm going to get hammered. They're 47-1 after 6.

Decided to round my ground out for the new season, cost me 130K, probably a bad idea but meh, i want my capacity over 10K :p

Now only have 151K

Spent 30k on repairs, to get my academy up to superb from strong. And since im spending 20k a week on youth academy, thats 50k down the drain

First draw for cup is up, looks like im playing an inactive team who has no manager?

It jumps your academy's condition up a level every tiume you invest the 30k. My YA is now superb after investing 60k.

I think it drops down after a certain number of weeks though.

I'm away to a team with mediocre/woeful/abysmal batting and feeble seam bowling. Should win but it's not a certainty.

my opponent is mediocre/woeful/abysmal batting and woeful seam, feeble spin, feeble fielding

if taking it on TIE and if i don't win i don't deserve to!

my last ratings (friendly) were comp/feeble/abysmal and med/med/med. So it might be close
