To be honest, that's exactly where I'd hope to be in a season's time. Unfortunately, I had a pretty pants starting line-up so it's taken a while to train them up to the base level - which, admittedly, is partly because I'm going for five Wonderfuls.

Haha hey, I never said I'd be there. I'll have 4 good bats (as in ~quality+), 2 good bowlers (quality+), then 2 strong "fillers" (1 batsman, 1 bowler). One of the batsmen will have just turned 19 and will get training, another will have just turned 18yo and will get training, and I'll take on 2 new 17yo bowlers.

Should have some cash in the bank, so it'll be good enough (hopefully) for me to get to III and stay competitive.

And look, I have to agree with that last comment. Maybe we're born with it, maybe it's the "-inho". Btw, do you have MSN? Used a fair bit around here.

how much u fellas reckon i could get for him?

tbh, any superb player is worth 1mil+. how much above all depends on his secondaries and age. i'd imagine you'll be able to get 1.5+ for him. i think that the transfer market is still inflating at a very rapid rate, so price are gradually going to keep getting better

9. Inoka Rangana

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: mediorce
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: feeble

That means i only have two players left from my orginal squad and it might be one depending on the youth pull i get next week. Rangana was my best bowler in my first season and lead wickets in my first championship. He leaves the club with a very impressive record, 65 wkts @ 11.62.

After buying my respectable batsmen for only 90k, i made a pretty good 70k profit from his sale. After my match this week i should be back to having 500k in the bank, which was where i was two weeks ago before my ground expansion and academy repairs.

Got a very close tommorrow against Sandringham whos ratings have been competent (TO), medioce (MO), mediorce/feeble (Seam) and feeble (Spin). Which is bacially the same as mine but i been getting mediorce (Spin). Im just going to go GFI and hope for the best. Im pretty confident my batting line up is a class above there bowling attack, so im just going to back them to chase down an total they set.

Thought it might be time to update this. Reasonable improvements, though I do have 3 pops coming up (Mcmillan -> superb batting, Rayno -> superb bowling and Gray -> strong w/k) but I couldn't be bothered waiting. My post was on the 5th of July if anyone else needs to find theirs. Also, please don't bring up the other Batting, Bowling, Secondaries thing as I actually checked mine and found that, since I'd gotten rid of a Resp allrounder (in Mclaren) and have 1 less batting spot, my batting hasn't improved at all...

How many weeks do you think he's away from popping?

I'd obvously go top too, but if he was really close I might have gone bottom.

As PY said, neither are close. Both would very much be mid-level, though the second would be marginally higher, given his higher wage and worse stamina. I'd say it could take anywhere from 5 to 8 or so weeks with one batting net for the top one.

Anyway, pretty steady improvement there IMO. Nothing major in both, but I've gotten rid of almost all of my weak points, in terms of Philani and Drench, and Parr should be replaced as keeper by Thatcher sometime next season, allowing me to play another batsman.
