rather sedate start, 32-0 after 4.5. Should really cruise this game. Unfortunately i forgot to change my orders properly so i batted first and played Islam and Abdul Kadir

44.3:

Batt runs in, left arm over. Bowls, nips away from Gowshall, who flicks it into the leg side for a single, and there we are! Rips off his helmet, raises his bat, and that's a great innings! 100 runs off just 90 balls, the whole ground is on their feet, recoginising the genius of Hamid Gowshall. He points his bat to the home team's balcony, he's anchored this innings, like so many times before. The best batsman in Grayham's history.

End of Over 50: 283-4, runrate=5.66
Batt 10-0-57-0
Gowshall* 128 (107 balls)
Hinshelwood 29 (24 balls)

Last Wicket: Ndah c. Lord b. Rankin 40 (FOW: 214/4)

That's as good as I could have hoped for, and Boycott was right about Gowshall being the key man.

If Bardle can peg them back early, I could progress.

Cup game was much easier than expected. Put on 239 for the first wicket, with Carless (proficient) scoring 119 and Wali, last week's YP scored 127. The thing is, Wali's mainly a bowler, and he's feeble batting and worthless concentration. The middle order took us to 331, and the we skittled them with Mandoo Kadir taking 6-24 in his first bowl for ages.

Most unbalanced player ever. Not even sure how it's possible to get someone to exceptional batting and only abysmal concentration, must've been getting half a dozen batting nets or something.

I've bowled Gowshall (abysmal-superb) again :(

He's going allright though, while Hinshelwood (competent-woeful) is getting smashed.
