A telling insight into the season that was. 3 standouts, then mediocrity. Hopefully next season will see the batting joined by Jones & Mclaren, and the bowling by Rayno & Mclaren.

Holmes 181 13 722 48 15.04 22.63 3.99 4/1 0
Holmes is worth a mention, although not of all his bowling was done for us this season, he still played a key part in guiding the side through to the NZ Cup semis. Before he was sold, he took 38 wickets. Tony Wheat, my keeper, also deserves a mention with 52 catches behind the stumps (#5 in NZ), taking his tally to 166 (#6 in NZ) for his career. The play who disappointed me the most, had to be Duggan. He was my best batsmen, but I think that he is better than what he offered this season. He had an awful conversion rate of 50s in 100s. There were several occasions where I'm sure he would have scored a 100 had the opposition not offered us up such a lowsy total to chase, leaving him stranded, including a 99* in one game, but on other occasions he really let himself down and should have scored a few more hundreds, where he surprisingly got out. I'll be hoping for better from him next season.

However, in 24 competitive matches over the past season, we won 23, which is a pretty fkn swell effort, if you don't mind my saying so. Hopefully we adapt to II.4 life without too much of a fuss. The main disappointment being my absense from the CW Cup Final :(

You know something, you'd really think that better ratings would help you win the match, twice on consecutive weeks. It hasnt happened. ****ing me offf completely.
But I thought we'd been reliably informed that the game cheats so that the better ratings wins everytime?

Fairly negligible difference in ratings there (your seam bowling is worse in fact), not really cause for complaint.

Been away for a week and plenty has gone down in BT world.

Had a decent performance against Trev though lost but I was happy with the way it went generally.

I decided to stay in level II because I'm too competitive to throw a game. TIE'd it and absolutely mashed them into puree. 415/2 with Chanderpaul scoring 209 from 164 balls and bowled them out for 42 with Sekani taking 6/12.

Couple of pops came through:

Madhukar Moodley - 18 yo, BT Rating=17,580
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: strong Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: woeful
Fielding: proficient

Kenwynne Sekani - 18 yo, BT Rating=15,410
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, lively
A steady player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: superb Consistency: feeble
Fielding: feeble

And my YP with 20 on batting & concentration....was utter turd.
