Congrats. Batted me out of it. (Though if Herbert had opened he might have made it closer...and ruined his fitness level to boot. :D )
Yea, for some reason Packer on my side dropped to energetic even tho they were sublime yesterday and didn't even bat against your lot. Looking forward to when Lisbie has his stamina a bit higher so I can bat him a bit higher on occasion like today...

Won my game today against Alternative XI. Bit suprised I won considering who played but a win's a win.

Alternative XI 303 ao
Giles 109, Watts 58, Willingham 5-56, Ricketts 3-60

Boulevard Bombers 304 - 4
HIggins 79 *, Wellens 79, Fettis 64, Lebohang 2-40

Disappointed in Sykes only getting 27 but Willingham doing well only augurs well for my bowling depth.

Pretty close between us. It'll definitely be close like last time and I've got some selection issues to work out. Interesting that my spinner rating improved in my friendly when only one of my two spinners played. Oh and btw sold my former skipper Weekes for 34k. Pretty decent sum I'd say.Wilmers has taken it over. Had a rough start but doing better.

You'd do well to sell them for anything.

International Captain
Well, the Cup dream is over after we got beaten in our semi by 104 runs. It was our 3rd match against a State Sheild side, and I guess that our luck had to run out at some stage. My bowlers got milked for 364/3 and in response we showed glimpses of promise, but when Duggan disgraced himself getting out ofr a 8 ball duck, I knew it was over. But still, to have made the cup semis is pretty fkn swell.

Now I guess it's time to concentrate on making sure I don't **** the league up this season so that my side finally promotes to division II, where we belong, that is

Finally got a bowling pop on Lisbie:

5. Max Lisbie - 22 yo, BT Rating=29,280
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A destructive player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: strong Concentration: strong
Bowling: proficient Consistency: superb
Fielding: mediocre

Stamina will be feeble in a couple of weeks, at which point I'll have sunk 28 sessions into Lisbie - but they're worth well over 1 mil when that happens so it was well worth it.

Also it's now been 8 weeks since their consistency popped, so I might just give them another net at some point to get that up to quality.

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: proficient

Did get experience pops on Packer and Obrien tho.
