All over here! 69/1 in 10.1, Carey 39 (38) Staveley 23 (22) Just the four for Greening though, his fifth straight failure. I'm considering whether to A, bite the bullet and get to grips with his Conc, as obviously Feeb isn't good enough, or, B, sell him on and replace him with an older, but more rounded batsman. He'll be Qual in the next three to five weeks, so, at 19yo, hopefully I could get £2m for him. It's just a case of whether that would in turn be enough to buy me a Sup+ bat with better Conc?

BTW, DCYE, it's Andy Carless who's on for £2m, interested:-)

Beat the league leaders quite comfortably, now equal on points with them, but I have a NRR that's -1 of that of their's, though.

Bowled them out for 156, Abdul Kadir taking 4-28, Malik taking 3-18, and Islam bowling a mesmerizing spell of 2-14 off his ten.

Chased the runs down in 30 overs, lost quite a few wickets, though, which is a worry.

Lower Order: woeful

Maybe you should just bat him down the order, say 3 or 4, and open with someone else. You could also give him a fielding net as well as his batting, but if your net's are a bit tight, it mightn't be a bad idea to sell him. What's his stamina like?

Won by 218 runs so a nice RR boost. Again my weakest bowler took a five-fer, this time my 6th best bowler Mohamed who I bring in to give Lisbie a break from being an all-rounder.

Hmm, struggling a bit at the moment, probably should've PAN instead of TIE since I GFI'd on Sunday. A win will pretty much ensure that I won't have to face a relegation playoff, while a loss will still keep me in 4th but without a points advantage.

Dodgy start after sending them in:

End of Over 16: 94-1, runrate=5.88
Malik 3-0-18-0
Kirby* 45 (35 balls)
Gallop 29 (49 balls)
Last Wicket: Jack c. Ashton b. Monk 14 (FOW: 21/1)

A great game today winning by 10 wickets, after a terrible loss last week..

Looking like a clean sweep today so far for the CW sides?

Andy, Greening is Med Stam and Feeb conc. I am thinking of taking Patel's fitness net off him, as he's reached Med now, and giving Greening a fielding net. But how quick do secondaries pop for a teenager, even with a fielding net?

Guess it comes down to how much I could get for him, and what I could buy in return? Though in all honesty I don't need him for the rest of this season, I'm going to win my league, I shouldn't need a playoff to go up, so I could sell him now, earn some pretty hefty interest until the end of the season, and then buy another gun ready for Div VI?

Not a clean sweep - I decided to TIE in the end and thought I was going to pull off a shock when I reduced them to 34-4 with 2 danger men out.

Unfortunately they had a 3rd dangerman and a number 6 who deliberately scored more than he'd ever scored before - I'm sure it was only because they were playing me!

Still we managed to battle back and run through the tail, but the score was set, and I soon discovered their bowling was their real strength... 90 all out and defeat, but 2nd is still a possibility if I can get wins through the rest of the season.

Haha what the hell, there must be something to this game that no one else is getting, because you, Mr Mork, are pulling upsets from all sorts of orifices.

That's called "tactics".

(of course, when other people pull upsets against me, it is called "bad luck")
