How much money you got Adam? ;)
Not much more, probably a good thing as I shouldn't really be spending too much on that sort of player. I do need another batsman though so I hope I get him.

would you say i might have a chance if Islam can get some early wickets?
On the right sort of pitch you'd have a decent chance, something like cracked. I won a game by 7 wickets on a cracked pitch, these were the ratings:

Code:
         Scaly Piscine CC Team Tomba
Top Order: respectable superb
Middle Order: respectable feeble
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: respectable respectable
Spin Bowling: proficient useless
Fielding: mediocre feeble
Bowled them out for 137 and chased it in 21.1 overs.

A fiarly comfortable win in the end - 32 runs.

Interesting ratings - yet another example of the better ratings losing...

AA for President! Northern Hammers

Middle Order: mediocre mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent proficient
Spin Bowling: feeble feeble
Fielding: woeful woeful

Scoring rate has picked up pretty nicely:

End of Over 25: 173-0, runrate=6.92
Lawrence 3-0-25-0
Cuss* 82 (73 balls)
Wynand 83 (78 balls)

Should be headed for 350ish unless a wicket falls soon. Cuss now has 1,000 runs for the season.

Ridiculous win today. I want more RL players, these bots are annoying.

Central Districts 0-372
De Beer 202* (166)
Herd 160* (136)

Seaford heights CC 10-64
Pryde 5-15
Hodge 4-34

BARNES OUT
Also, because of all the BS with V.198 and under not starting, my league table, averages and NRR haven't updated, so I've fallen down to 198 in the promotion table when I should be up near the very top.

Man i really threw away my match, we got rolled for 144 chasing 173:

Tiny Town CCC - 172 All Out
Priyantha 3/32 (10)

Jaffna Jets - 144 All Out
Nurse 44(50)
Lorensuhewa 5/14 (8.4)

Ratings
Code:
Jaffna Jets Tiny Town 2 CCC
Top Order: mediocre feeble
Middle Order: mediocre feeble
Lower Order: worthless abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre mediocre
Spin Bowling: mediocre respectable
Fielding: woeful woeful
Well thier respectable rating spinner was the difference between the team. Im not too worried as the team coming first is a long way infront of both of us and the team 4 and below are a long way behind.

In my first season I played Tiny Town CCC... crushed 'em (bowled them out for 60 and chased it in 9.2 overs without losing a wicket), their new side looks a lot better than the one I played tho.

End of Over 40: 254-2, runrate=6.35
Packer 10-0-57-0
Crowe* 74 (72 balls)
Elsegood 59 (57 balls)

Last Wicket: Wilmers c. Hay b. Alves 64 (FOW: 130/2)

Should push on to around 350 if my batsmen get going.

Set to break a few records here:

End of Over 40: 306-0, runrate=7.65
Wick 10-0-79-0
Wynand* 126 (118 balls)
Cuss 164 (124 balls)

I've scored 400+ once before, but that was against a bot, not a div I team (albeit a struggling div I team). Cuss has never scored a double century, managed 196* in a friendly once.

85 and 93 off the last 10 for those two... now marc will say how that reflects real life no doubt.
It's certainly far from unbelievable.

Especially bearing in mind that its likely the opposition's best bowlers are there in those overs.

If you don't like it, you don't have to play.

Marc has a point, if you think about it. Batsmen having been in for 40 overs, best bowlers coming back for end and anyway, I'd flipping take 9.3 an over in a OD game from the last ten.

Are you mad?

i played on a hard fast track and accidently played a worthless bowler however still won easily.

Scotland_21 233 Allout
Hook 5/26
Welsby 3/22

Victoria Panthers 2/236 off 30.3 overs

Tahir 8(4)
Malcolm 126* (96)
Drummond 14 (25)
Wight 73* (58)

Victoria Panthers
Top Order: mediocre
Middle Order: woeful
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: woeful
Spin Bowling respectable
Fielding: woeful

MOTM: Hook

Usually get mediocre seam bowling but playing that worthless bowler hammered the seam ratings.

I would've preferred 9.4 an over, as I ended up on 399 - Cuss got the 200 though. :) Won easily (145 runs), Malik taking 5 wickets (his first 5-fer incidentally). My two crap bowlers got hit for 70 and 78 runs respectively.

Will get back to cramming for my exam which starts in an hour (who the hell schedules an exam on a Saturday?!).
