I was basically trying to maximise profit here, the worst I would get is med-woe/med-woe with woeful stamina and I've got lots of chances of getting something better - any innate skill except something like woeful w/keeping is useful. Turned out a lot better than the bare minimum as you can see and they seem to be high up the sublevels (range is ~ 720 to 1300). Leaves me in a bit of a quandary...
Dang it. Looks like a great prospect... :(

Only had 30 ITS to spare, so put it all into batting, concentration and stamina. Good thing I didn't try to pull a bowler, otherwise I would've been disappointed.

Cory Callery (792290)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A defensive player with respectable leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Could use him but I'll probably sell him, 17yo respectables are going at crazy prices at the moment (saw one last week go for 1.5m, wasn't even an allrounder). Hopefully I can get at least 300k for him which will allow me to buy a decent bowler.

There's something wrong when a player like that isn't dual nationality.

Looking on the positive side he's got a completely bizarre (and probably unique) name...
I'm sure thats a great comfort scaly...

Am not going as well as I expected in my cup match, but it should be fine. I'm bowling, and they got off to a pretty good start, but Giles (2/40 off 10) and Erasmus (1/11 off 5), brought them back. I'd be happy with anything under 250.

End of Over 40: 180-5, runrate=4.50
Tedstone 10-0-38-1
Davenport* 32 (52 balls)
Croft 2 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Henderson c. Drench b. Tedstone 38 (FOW: 178/5)

Edit: Erasmus just took two in his first over back, they're 7/191.

Edit again: Erasmus ends with 5/26 off 8.5 as they're all out for 214.

Just bowled my inactive Div V opposition out for 201 on the last ball. Not bad considering I am TIEing, and am resting Rayno and Mcmillan (my 2 best bowlers, excluding Millsy).

End of Over 50: 201-10, runrate=4.02
Bunn 10-2-40-3

exact same kind of bowler as last weeks. They must not bother that much with the bowling but train them very hard in consistency at my Academy.
How close would he be from popping to competent bowling?

Kennedy has 15 hundreds in 36 OD matches and 8 hundreds in 25 Friendlys.
Jayasuriya has 13 hundreds in 29 OD matches and 6 hundreds in 23 Friendlys.
So they dont have that many hundreds, im sure theres other people on here who have players who have scored more...

Went for a bit more than i wanted, but i will train him with two batting nets and one stamina. He should be able to hold my batting together until Allen is able to play.

Probably try get his stamina to atleast respectable and his batting to wonderful. No idea how far off he is in either but his nets info says his last net session was one bat and one fitness

Won my cup game easily enough and my next weeks fixture is up. Playing a relatively easy team again, though its not a bot :( :D

Just rolled my opportistion for 90 in my Cup game. First time i played with TIE. Should be pretty interesting to see how long it takes my boys to get the total.

33/3from3.3

International Vice-Captain
No where near mate
Nutter has 3 centuries and 6 halves in 18 Domestic matches and 2 cents.:p and 4 halves in Friendly matches
Just had a look at Buckle's history and i found out that he faced the first ball in his original club's history and that team was one of the original teams ever in BT!!! :p
Anyway he has 3 cents and 6 halves in 29 Domestic matches and 10 halves from about 20 friendlies

International Coach
Chanderpaul has 6 centuries (and 6 fifties) in 22 games but a lot of that is because I bowl first to save PFL so he's almost always chasing crap scores and gets not outs (he has 14).

My cup game is going OK, bowled them out for 197 (bit more that I thought I would!) and now I'm 84/0 off 12 overs.

Life is good. :)

Hi guys.

My gun, Bardle (now 18) has competent consistency and strong bowling. At the moment he's on 2 bowling nets, a fielding net and a fitness net, and really struggling with his PFL. So, what I'd be interested in, is how much is his fielding net contributing to his consistency? (he's up to proficent fielding, so I don't need it for that.)

Consistency pops with any number of bowling nets - 8 weeks
Consistency pops with any number of bowling nets & any number of fielding nets - 3 weeks.
