I don't think there are any accurate figures actually. There were numbers similar to that posted last season but that was largely due to the training bugs. I had a two week pop in consistency for Louis (22yo) but haven't had one in five weeks since (on one fielding and one bowling net the whole time) so I doubt it would be as quick as three weeks since older players are allegedly supposed to increase faster.

My ratings big time took a hit from the reset.

Boggles
Top Order: mediocre
Middle Order: feeble
Lower Order: worthless
Seam Bowling: feeble
Spin Bowling: mediocre
Fielding: woeful

Consistency pops with any number of bowling nets & any number of fielding nets - 3 weeks.
But you don't need to give him a bowling net to get a pop in consistency, right?

Yeah, the team next week are almost exactly the same as me in terms of ratings.

And their cup game was spookily like mine too, it's truly neck and neck. What do you guys reckon I should do in terms of TIE, PAN or GFI?

I'm thinking GFI will kill my fitness, PAN would be OK, TIE I'd lose. Kind of need to know what the other manager would do, because if he PANs then I might lose if I PAN but want to avoid GFI!

I wouldn't GFI this early in the season. GFI doesn't add much to the ratings (only one full level or so) and cuts your fitness in half so I'd only GFI if it was a must-win game, which at this stage of the season it isn't going to be.

I think you may as well just PAN. You don't want to risk losing, especially since member and player confidence won't be too high right now after they were reset.

It's not a cup game I'm talking about Adam, sorry I didn't make that clear at all. :)

Though what you say still applies to the league game I guess. Just it's one of the teams where I'm only a little behind in ratings rather than a long way behind so wouldn't mind trying extra hard to win it!

Yeah I originally thought you were referring to a league game, so I wrote the bit that's in my post now, then for some reason thought you were actually referring to a cup game, so tacked on the bit about cup matches. Then I realised that you couldn't be referring to a cup game as there are no fixtures yet, so deleted the bit I added on.

A defensive player with strong leadership skills and worthless experience.

Wages: £583 p/w

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: woeful Concentration: respectable
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: respectable
Fielding: worthless

exact same kind of bowler as last weeks. They must not bother that much with the bowling but train them very hard in consistency at my Academy.
How close would he be from popping to competent bowling?
Impossible to say because of the two respectable secondaries, overall they're nearly half of the way up the sublevels - whether most of that is from concentration, consistency or batting you'll only know by training them and seeing what happens.

Easy TIE bot win for me, chased 86 in 10 overs, no wickets lost. Rested a few players that I'm training so the ratings are a bit crappy:

Oswaldtwistle CC Scaly Piscine CC
Top Order: worthless mediocre
Middle Order: abysmal feeble
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: abysmal feeble
Spin Bowling: worthless useless
Fielding: woeful feeble

lol, for some reason i managed to open the bowling with my wicketkeeper and put my spinner behind the stumps. Left out a few of my players as its a bot

Rolled em for 67 (wicketkeeper took 2-19) and got em in 8 overs

My first cup victory ever, and a nice start to the season, Hinshelwood and Sugden cleaning the tail up and centuries for Gowshall and Nix.
