Chanderpaul is on 150* (117) at the start of the 42nd over.

Pity the guy down the other end has hit the wall so is hogging the strike. :(

EDIT: Now he's out. :)

Got Spin bowling:

End of Over 49: 383-3, runrate=7.82, reqrunrate=11.00 (393-5)
Davidson 10-0-80-0
Ohanlon* 179 (144 balls)
Brammer 114 (76 balls)

11 needed off the las over. 2 fours. Now it's 3 needed off 4. Edit - 3 fours in a row, Hing loses

Also, young Mike Wilson lost his playoff, which he was trying to win.

Btw Adam, that's a fair gun team. Though you'd expect such from a combined lineup from the top league
You should do pretty well in your new league Rob. The #1 team will be gone and none of the others look overly strong.

Man the bowlers have really stepped up in the payoff: :D

End of Over 38: 134-6, runrate=3.53
Kinsella 9-0-35-0
Samaranayake* 7 (15 balls)
Pathirana 0 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Karunaratne c. Clayton b. Rangana 1 (FOW: 127/6)

No i don't because you only declare bancruptcy(sp?) after your under -350K so i'm good
Isn't this a period with relatively little income though (since there's fewer games in the season change)

lost my playoff by 36 runs but im not too disapointed guess i'll just have to dominated division 5.

I find myself wishing I'd done that now, my team is going to be wholly inadequate (a la Borchich) in India II.

Could have done with the money from good attendances to buy some superstars.

Looks like my batting side for start of next season is going to be:

Chanderpaul - 19yo superb/competent
Abdul Kadir - 18yo proficient/mediocre
Moodley - 18yo proficient/competent
Ahmed - 24yo proficient/woeful
Ahmed+ - 20yo respectable/respectable
Singh - 20yo competent/proficient
Ghandi* - 21yo mediocre/feeble, superb leadership
Sekani - 18yo mediocre/mediocre
Liyanage - 20yo woeful/competent
Malik - 22yo abysmal/abysmal
Dangasela - 18yo abysmal/woeful

Bowlers:

Sekani - 18yo strong/mediocre
Liyanage - 20yo proficient/respectable
Malik - 22yo respectable/competent
Dangasela - 18yo respectable/mediocre
Singh - 20yo competent/strong

I'm going to get pillaged. :(

@ brenoevo: I don't think so, it just goes into the abyss. It might appear in the membership stats when they get updated though (he'd make the Aus Div V high scores for this season).
Jus checked Jayasuriya's stats and it appears that they must count towards OD stats as his new high score for that is 232 when his old one was 158.

Im going into Div IV.46 should be a fairly competative league, hope i can get into the top 4 next season, atleast it will be more of a challenge then flogging crap newby sides like this season was.

Only got 926k for Badley which is a bit crap, could've gotten over 1 mil if I had been able to set a minimum (which I couldn't because I needed an early bid so I could get Watkins). Oh well, just means I'll probably have to wait till after my first home game next season to find a replacement.

kool got on both of those lists. at the start of this season i wondered if either of those could get on the most runs for the season list for div V cause they had alrite stats, and one of them did im so proud, Jayasuriya getting on the top scorers list was also a bonus.

I didn't get a single player on any seasonal division 5 list, yet finished 3rd in the whole thing.

Guess that's the benefit of having a squad rather than individuals!

How about, a squad consisting of individuals? ;)
