How do you save ITS and what advantage does it give you?
You save ITS just by not using them. It means that you can save them up and use a lot of them on one player, although there's a max for how many you can use on a player depending on their age (a 17 year old can only have 35 ITS).

Okay, 35 ITS used, 12 batting, 12 bowling, 8 stamina, 2 concentration and 1 consistency.

A cautious player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Magical Ponies

Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 5,458
Wages: £871 p/w
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: woeful

Sweet! I really needed a spinner, so that's awesome!
Wow. He's awesome.

Yeah, I'm very happy. The only problem is net space, given that I'm also training these two:
Code:
Gavin Canning - 17 yo, BT Rating=10,642
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, lively
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: feeble
Bowling: proficient Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: woeful

Greg Griffin - 19 yo, BT Rating=15,060
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, strong bowling form, sublime
An attacking player with worthless leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: strong Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: respectable
Fielding: abysmal
And I'd also like to get Erasmus up to at least proficient bowling, but he's still young so it's hardly urgent.

Code:
Joe Erasmus - 17 yo, BT Rating=5,294
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, strong batting form, strong bowling form, energetic
A cautious player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: worthless
Bowling: respectable Consistency: feeble
Fielding: abysmal
Any suggestions as to what I should do would be greatly appreciated, by the way.

That's the point, I don't want to sell him for what he's worth, I want to sell him for more. If I don't sell him it doesn't matter, I'll just keep using him as he's a decent player.

Just wondering how crap, ok, decent etc my side is at present:

H Haasim, med/fee (Bat), med/aby (Bowl-LFM)

F Ajizal, res/woe (Bat)
D Senior, res/wor (Bat)
A Da Silva, com/fee (Bat)
A Hodge, com/fee (Bat)
D Cayton, com/wor (Bat), com/med (wk)
H Luxman, com/fee (Bowl-RM)
I Rangana, res/woe (Bowl-LM)
S Pushpakumara, res/fee (Bowl-RF)
K Priyantha, com/com (Bat-LF)

Res Bat: D Mitten, com/wor (Bat)
Res Bowl: B O'Neill, com/wor (Bowl-S)

I got a pretty big game coming up in two weeks against the side coming equal first with me. So do you guys think i need any significant reinforcements(sp).
I think that's a fine starting point - no big stars, but they'll come in a season or two of training. Might want a spinner, though...you're Sri Lankan, aren't you? :p

Paddy, try using [c.o.d.e] [/c.o.d.e.] to paste things into. It saves room, and it stays formatted.

Anyway, I think that seeing as I've just pulled Tedstone, I might cut back my investment to youth academy. I need the money, and I won't be making another pull for a while. Even next season, I'll still have three or four players to train so it won't matter all that much.

Yeah Chaminda, that's a pretty good starting side, one of the best I've seen in terms of balance.

Well i do have O'Neill of the bench, but i haven't come across a pitch where i needed him yet. I am looking for a spin bowling all rounder for next season FC matches though.

Why the hell do I never pull players like that?

Anyway at least I've got 900k in the bank now to cream interest off of.

Must say I quite like this new system, have pulled 2 good players out of 3 using ITS, and managed to sell the other one for 60 odd k.

I like it, pulled 2 reasonable players, 1 shocker who went for 1k, got 20 ITS saved up, ready for the next season..

I hate it - under the old system it was virtually impossible to find even a 17yo competent/competent allrounder; now they're everywhere but I've got no use for them anymore. Nah it's OK I guess, just that it would've been far more useful to me last season.

Pulled a new youth player this morning

A defensive player with mediocre leadership skills and worthless experience.

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless

Actually one of the better players i've got from the academy, but all the secondarys are a bit disappointing

Yeah, I definetely say the ITS system is damn good. Pulled 2 of 3 guys. And for me the third guy went for 25K. ITS system seems to be working out...

Ahh, Battrick awarding £50k to every team :D That means I'm actually going to make a profit. Might do a bit of forecasting to see how much money I should have by next season...

Haha nice. I've gone from 18k to 117k :D

And Adam:
Last weeks problems
First of all, our apologies for all the problems with the matches and gate receipts last week. We have now finished allocating gate receipts to all the teams that were affected.
We also realise that there is an issue with some clubs having been more severely affected with bankruptcy problems and lost interest as a result. Therefore we have decided to remove any login restrictions that may have been imposed this week, and a one off payment of £50,000 will be made to all clubs.
