Just wondering how crap, ok, decent etc my side is at present:

H Haasim, med/fee (Bat), med/aby (Bowl-LFM)
T Girubaharan, med/fee (Bat)
F Ajizal, res/woe (Bat)
D Senior, res/wor (Bat)
A Da Silva, com/fee (Bat)
A Hodge, com/fee (Bat)
D Cayton, com/wor (Bat), com/med (wk)
H Luxman, com/fee (Bowl-RM)
I Rangana, res/woe (Bowl-LM)
S Pushpakumara, res/fee (Bowl-RF)
K Priyantha, com/com (Bat-LF)

Res Bat: D Mitten, com/wor (Bat)
Res Bowl: B O'Neill, com/wor (Bowl-S)

I got a pretty big game coming up in two weeks against the side coming equal first with me. So do you guys think i need any significant reinforcements(sp).

The Makin sale meant I was tempted to reinvest:

Christian Mackie (460636)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with mediocre leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: AA for President!
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 6,396
Wages: £350 p/w
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: competent Consistency: competent
Fielding: worthless

For just over £175,000 - I'm thinking he'll make a useful player come the FC game coming in.

Also got a bloke in for next season, again with FC in mind - £25,000 was too good a deal I thought.

Frank Aldridge (326535)
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, proficient batting form, feeble bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with respectable leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: AA for President!
Nationality: South Africa
Age: 21 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 3,577
Wages: £454 p/w
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: feeble
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: abysmal

Any opinions on the value?

£175000 for that? hmm if players of that level (low competent) are going for that much atm i'll have to wait. Was looking to buy a high resp bowler, there was one on today that went for £250K with ok secondaries

The low level would've been at the season start wouldn't it though?

He's definitely been trained since then, before I signed him.

hmmm I think that maybe the best investment anyone could make at this stage of the season is in a spinner, if you already haven't got on, like me, that is. i suspect that they will come in extremely handy when the FC matches arrive. if you have to bowl pace all day, that'll surely zap you're bowling attack something awful. next season, because of this i'd expect that they'll go up in price significantly, due to this fact.

today i'm facing the 7th placed team in my league. after 45 overs i'm 291/3 with duggan on 69* and hamshaw 63*. earlier lennon and waddell both made 50s, while willetts failed miserably. i'm on a TIE too, just let me add

should be an easy win from here.

Whenuapai 331/3 (50 Overs)
Duggan 86*
Hamshaw 86*
Lennon 79
Waddell 56
Willetts 6

Atomic Playboys 0/0 (0.0 Overs)

Lower Order: woeful

I'm pulling this week (I will have 35), then I'll save the rest for next season I think.
