Hmmmm... Slightly better ratings there for me. I suspect he was on GFI, I was on normal and my fitness isn't too high. All the same, a loss is a loss. This was one of the two teams who I was pretty sure I could beat, and I think it was just the fact that Griffin managed to get out for a duck that lost it. Should still come 6th based on NRR.

Know exactly what you mean Scaly, High Tops, the side I'm playing today, have two mint openers, but nowt much else batting-wise to write home about - I'm just having a ***** of a job getting the initial breakthrough.
But at least my performance so far, touch wood, is solid, if not spectacular. Currently they're 151/0 after 30, so I guess they're heading for anything from 260 to 290 - The lower end of which is gettable, the top end of which i
guess is edging towards the unlikely.

Team I'm up against are 174-2 off 34 overs on a dusty pitch, pretty decent from my point of view, Dillon taking two quick wickets in the 29th over - their number 6 averages 12 so if Dillon does his usual detonation job in the last 10 they might only get 250. Hoping Howlett escapes too much damage in his last 3 overs...

Oh Balls! I think the phrase is sod's Law! I'd just reconciled myself to the idea of their openers seeing it out, as they've both begun to hit the stam wall and aren't doing too much damage, then my spinner, Atherton-Ham get's, who's supposed to be bowling V.Defensive, gets one of them LBW. Now their No.3 is in, and he's looking to cut up rough. 195/1 after 39, I guess they're on track for 275ish - Could be more, what with it being the slog overs, could be less as my best two bowlers today are about to come back.
With any luck Scaly, you might keep them below 250 with a few more wickets?

There both only getting 1 batting n 1 fitness net each, using the other nets for bowling allrounder n keeper bat. They are both due to pop to superb bat at the end of the season, duno if ill keep training them after that cause i need to work on my bowling. By the way if someone has membership could they check n see if Kennedy is in the Top Run scorers list for Aus Div 5, he has scored 1086 runs in league matches this season after todays game.
