Got any nets free?

If you have, I reckon he'd be worth keeping. Depends on your squad I guess

Well, my squad sucks, he's my third best bowler, and my only spinner.

I've assigned him two bowling nets, and two fitness nets. I think that'll get him through. I can't afford him more bowling nets because of this guy:

Shalin Abdul kadir - 18 yo, BT Rating=9,103
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, strong batting form, competent bowling form, lively
A destructive player with abysmal leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: abysmal
Batting: feeble Concentration: competent
Bowling: proficient Consistency: woeful
Fielding: competent

Hmm, I was you, I'd stop training the prof guy on bowling and get in some fielding nets to improve his consistency before the changes to training happens.

2 bowling and 1 fitness and 1 fielding for the other guy if I was you. :)

Lucky.. I'm gunning for fourth spot to avoid relegation. Although relegation wouldn't be too bad, going back to 5th division would give me a chance to stock up on money.

Am thankfully bowling first against a very new team in my friendly, and as such they are 1/6 after 2.

Started ok im my cup match against a team i probably shouldnt win against.
I lost the toss and i am batting first on a green pitch.
End of Over 18: 103-2, runrate=5.72
Makgale 4-0-16-1
Jayasuriya* 51 (52 balls)
Boardley 4 (13 balls)

Cave and Chillingworth both take 3, Griffith 2 and Birchall 1, all for ridiculous economy rates as Saber Knights are all out for 108 off 39.3 overs. Dunne the only bowler to go wicketless, his 5 overs going for 12.

U19 12th Man
I finished up all out in the 48th over
End of Over 48: College Dropouts 257-10, runrate=5.35
Jayasuriya holding the innings together with 140, annoying that my other gun opener Kennedy was out hit wicket for 43.
I dont think i can restrict them to under 250 with my bowling attack due to the lack of wicket taking ability.

Just got back after a little break, logged in and saw that I had two easy wins in the cup and league (nine-wicket win and ten-wicket win) and a pretty easy win (seven wickets) for the national team as well, all matches on TIE, so all is well and good. From a cursory glance it looks like I got two training pops, Wynand up to mediocre fielding and Malik up to strong concentration.

My cup opponent for today:

Santos
Top Order: mediocre
Middle Order: woeful
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent
Spin Bowling: feeble
Fielding: mediocre

Could be a little tricky if they decide to GFI or something, but I'll TIE and hope for the best. Just did a YP then with no ITS, got feeble batting and not much else so he could've been OK if I had allocated something. Hopefully next week's YP will turn out well as I'm planning to use up as many ITS as possible.

Interesting re. the training changes as well. The increase in times for conc/cons training for young players sucks a little bit as I was hoping to get Malik's secondaries to silly levels since he's an allrounder, but it makes sense I suppose. Shortening secondary training for older players might convince me to give a fielding net to Gillespie, who has prof/abysmal batting and has been pretty useless with the bat lately, and a consistency boost wouldn't hurt either (strong/competent bowling).

The change to stamina training for older players are long overdue, means that those 27yo strongs with abysmal stamina might actually amount to something now. I'll wait a while to see what the new training times are, but most likely I'll try to get Cuss' stamina up another level or two seeing as he's going to be my best batsman for at least another season (after this one), and stamina has an effect on fitness recovery as well.

Just wondering if ITS can be carried over the weeks?e.g i get 5 a week will i have 25 sessions to give out in 5 weeks or do i only get 5 and thats it?

Hmm I'd noticed you'd not been around Adam, hope you enjoyed your break.

Just wrapped up the game here

Saber Knights 108 (39.3)
Chillingworth 3/20, Cave 3/23, Griffith 2/25 (9.3)

Magical Ponies 1/109 (18.4)
Sutton 65* (55), Keates 29* (51), Rennie 7 (8)

Sutton with MOTM. Hopefully his fifty will give him a bit of form, as he's had some pretty average scores lately. Does anyone know why it says on the scorecard that I was on 'play as normal,' even though it was a friendly?

Yeah, they carry over. I've been saving up since the first week, am waiting until next week when I'll have 40.
