This is my keeper- he's on a batting, keeping and fitness net. I've not got all that much space in my nets, but do you think one batting net is good enough?
It depends on what your long term plans are and how many all-rounders you play. If you're going to have this guy as first choice keeper for the long term as opposed to a stop-gap, backup or someone to sell later then it possibly is worth the second batting net because they're always going to be in your team and so their batting is always going to be of some value even if they're a couple of batting levels behind most of your bats (which is what will likely happen, even with 2 batting nets).

Anyway he's going to age very shortly, so you have to take this into consideration - but this is the sort of progress he'll get over a season with 2 batting, 1 W/K net (ignored the fitness for the time being)

Now that's a real pity he's going to age in a week, cause otherwise he could be a really good bowler with those secondaires.

Welcome to Golden Grove CG for the match between Golden Grove CC and Asterix XI.

We can tell you that Golden Grove CC won the toss and elected to bat.

Damn, no double ton for Cuss then. Hopefully we'll make fairly short work of the bot team, though Gillespie won't be opening the bowling (had him opening the batting in the hope of getting him up to the 1000/100 double).

Yea, just knew they bot would go and win the toss, so annoying. The side I was gonna obliterate in my last league did the same.

I'm 'watching' Carlton Bobcats v The Mighty Hornets, I'm hoping Carlton win because of the ratings the other team got in their last friendly...

The winner is in my division next season.

I assume this means that youth pulls next week pulled before Friday will age on Friday, so to avoid that you'd have to make the youth pull after the Friday update but before the financial update (Saturday).
If it's anything like Hattrick (and I'm not sure whether it is or not) then the youth pulls the week directly before the birthdays do not age. For example if you pull a 17 yo a day before the birthday, he'll stay 17 till the birthday next year.

End of Over 18: 39-10, runrate=2.17

Badley 7-3-12-5
Pollock 7-3-11-2
Gillespie 2-0-6-1
Malik 1-2-0-1

Quietly confident of being able to chase that down, I'll laugh if they get Cuss out.

Just scouting my div I opposition for next season a bit, this is what one of the teams got in his last league match (on GFI I hope...):

NorCricket United
Top Order: wonderful
Middle Order: superb
Lower Order: competent
Seam Bowling: remarkable
Spin Bowling: masterful
Fielding: respectable

Looking at the other teams in that league I don't think you'll run into too much difficulty there with the top team auto-promoting out of the league. Hornets got decent ratings in their last friendly but that was on GFI, probably with good fitness as well, and none of the other teams look much better.

OK, never played HT so I'm not sure where the similarities begin and end, but it would make sense if the same thing happened in BT (can't remember what happened at this time last season). I think I'll wait till Friday anyway to be on the safe side unless I hear otherwise; it's pretty immaterial anyway given that my YP will probably be fired within a few seconds of being pulled...

Didn't know you could GFI friendlies. But yea I think they're on high fitness and all of the sides in my division seem pretty similar, hopefully my secondaries and stamina are higher so I get the full value for my ratings, that and I've got a lot of bowling depth to keep coming up with sublime competents to suit the conditions. Think I'll probably switch to fast and hard ground if/when I sell Zesh Emmanuel.

Mmm whoops about the friendly/GFI, didn't really think that through. Just wrote GFI because their ratings dropped for this match, not sure why it did.

Anyway, a nice boring match to finish the season:

Golden Grove CC 39-10 (17.1)
Badley 5-12 (MotM), Pollock 2-11, Malik 1-0, Gillespie 1-6

Asterix XI 43-0 (5.5)
Gillespie 23* (21), Cuss 19* (14)

Code:
  	Golden Grove CC Asterix XI[/B]
Top Order: abysmal superb
Middle Order: abysmal respectable
Lower Order: woeful woeful
Seam Bowling: abysmal strong
Spin Bowling: abysmal respectable
Fielding: feeble mediocre
Don't think I'm going to cut it in div I but at least I can't get relegated next season.

Edit: Oh, and I failed in my bit to achieve the lowest fitness level, went down to 'drained' after four GFIs in five matches.
