Just finished my first ever match in Battrick. My team were bowled out for 215 with a great contribution from 17 year old trainee Bartlett who made 80. He was well supported by Buchanan (38) and Talbot (37).

After losing an early wicket, the opposition seemed to be coasting to victory, only to be undone by a spell of 8-47 by Nicolas Swift, including 5 wickets in 5 balls, which took them from 207-4 to 207-9. Talbot nicked the last wicket to bowl them out for 212 and give me my first ever win by 3 runs :)

Haha. Your first game AND your first BT Collapse, congrats. As you'll soon find out, when you reach the 40 over mark in your innings, the match engine can start to go a little bit weird, and massive collapses like that aren't uncommon. Don't let that retract from your win though, cause you'll inevitably have the collapses work for you and against you. And plus, 8/47 is hardly something to be laughed at, so good stuff.

Does anyone know what the Miscellaneous money is from? I've been getting like 55,000k every week. I did have a look around but couldn't find what it was. I assume it's something you get paid while the season isn't running or something?

Its FC subsidy, we get the money until FC comes in.

Looking to buy a good spinner or batsman. Got £1,639,865 in the bank. Should I wait until I get to around 2 mil or buy before? If the latter, buy after the age updates?

Yeah, I'd heard that collapses were a big part of BT, but wasn't expecting anything quite so drastic - very pleased it was in my favour though!

Very keen for the season to start now so I can start to put my team to the test and see who's going to cut it and who isn't...

Another comfortable BT20 win on the cards, bowled them out for 102 with one guy getting 61 of them. They get respectable(3)/strong(2) for bowling so shouldn't have too many difficulties chasing it down although I am resting 1 batsman, 1 all-rounder and 1 bowler.

End of the road training wise for Sisk, someone had to make way so i could give Jeithoon more nets and he got the short straw. Don't really have enough money yet to upgrade to superb/superb type bowler yet, so i wont be selling him for a while. Hopefully the money i might lose in his sale, due to waiting/age, is cancelled out by increases in prices.

Muralitharan should be quailty/quality in about months time, hopefully that enough to preform at a decent level in my new league. I might need a lot of runs and wickets from him if im going to stay up. Jeithoon doing what he does well popping.
