You can tell when your players pop because their skills have increased, and you do this simply by remembering (or writing down in a word or excel file) what they were beforehand. Also, training a skill will take a specific amount of time depending on which skill it is, the amount of nets used and the age of the player, so if you've been keeping track of a player, you can roughly predict when he should be popping soon.how do you telkl when your players pop is it on a certain day or after a certain amount of days in training.
Basically, as long as you're in the black it's okay. For my first few seasons or so, I'd be slightly in the red for weeks when I had away games, and then pretty highly in the black when I had home games, and as long as you're making money over a Home/Away two week period, you're doing fine. Once you start getting more money, then you can upgrade your stadium, meaning you earn more money for home games, and also, the more money in the bank the more interest you get. For example, thanks to me selling a few players and some recent home games, I'm now in the black by about 11k each week, purely due to the added interest I'm earning. Then again, that's also because I'm not investing in the youth academy.guys let me ask a general question. what is the balance of income you guys have each week. do you need a minimun of say 50k or should you run it down to almost nothing....

Pead's a bit behind the others in terms of training; I'm wondering if it might not be worth selling him at the end of the season and buying a better trainee at the start of the next one. Or I could use my cash pile to buy one (should have over a million by the end of the season), and just stop training Pead. Seems a bit of a waste, though; maybe I'm getting overly fixated on the differences in training times. An extra week per primary pop isn't really going to make that huge a difference in the scheme of things, I s'pose.
It's 8.6 weeks on an 18yo on 2 nets. Lets hope he is high sublevel which makes it easy to sell him in week 1 or 2 next season and get a 17yo High Respectable trainee or get a decent "older player" or to just earn interest.Popped three weeks ago; he's on 2xbowl, so another 5-6 weeks I expect.
...Why would he not keep training him? It's 8.6 weeks on an 18yo on 2 nets. Lets hope he is high sublevel which makes it easy to sell him in week 1 or 2 next season and get a 17yo High Respectable trainee or get a decent "older player" or to just earn interest.
Those are your 3 options basically.
Unless of course you decide to keep training him.
Well that was my suggestion, to be fair. It just seemed like Pead was lagging a bit, and I figured I might be better off selling him and starting with a better trainee (not least cos he was *rubbish* this season, for no apparent reason). But like I said earlier, I'm probably getting over-concerned about the slow-down in training times as he ages. A week here and there's no big deal, really....Why would he not keep training him?
Want a friendly this week Andy?...Why would he not keep training him?
Yeah sure. Mine or yours? I've not won a game in a while, my supporters aren't too happy with me atm.Want a friendly this week Andy?
We'll go mine then, i could do with a little bit more cash. Also i'll probably be resting my bowling attack for my playoff next week. So it could be a good chance to give Canning and Tedders some confidence at the top of the order.Yeah sure. Mine or yours? I've not won a game in a while, my supporters aren't too happy with me atm.
