Yeah sure. Mine or yours? I've not won a game in a while, my supporters aren't too happy with me atm.

Well I gave him the situation as he asked for if he did sell?...Why would he not keep training him?
Your going to have to go into his 22nd - 23rd year as he will take 25-26 weeks on 2 nets to get to Sensational. He will be Superb conc a short time into his 23rd season as well. Probably in that time you might want to get his stamina up as well.Only one pop today, but what a pop! My first Wond player!
Doug Greening - 21 yo, BT Rating=33,479
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A steady player with feeble leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: wonderful Concentration: proficient
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: feeble
Fielding: proficient
It's strange, a year or so ago I was drooling over Cuss, and now I've got a Wond player of my own, they're not that special any more. I mean I doubt Greening would make it into a CW 2nd XI? Still, he'll do me! think I'll keep him on two batting nets for next season, by which time he'll hopefully be around the Sens/Sup mark, and then I'll cut him back to one Bat one Field, so his Conc has a chance to catch up a bit.
Now have around £1.1M in the transfer kitty, but bugger me! that doesn't buy you much these days, does it? I'll carry on saving, but I think the way in which I'm going to get my limited funds to go the furthest will be to buy an oldish Sup with duff secondaries who no-one fancies, and stick him on a fielding net all season. At age 30, I got Cash from Feeb to Prof Cons in one season, so it's reasonably easy if you pick the right player.
I don't know, perhaps if I lose my playoff I won't bother buying anyone just yet, as it's not like my bowling's really been found out this season. But if I win then I'll have to replace Resp/Feeb RFM Bent as a matter of urgency, as I imagine he'll get murdered in Div III.
BTW, Could any of the clever folk amongst you give me an idea of my four or five most likely playoff opponents please? Currently I'm 61st in the Eng Div IV promotion table, and I've got a pretty easy match on Friday, so I'd imagine I might rise to 57/58th, but not too much higher than that I'd have thought.
Tar, Trev
Training Speeds read that page.A.D, Okay, a bit of maths here, so forgive me if I've missed something obvious.
The baseline for training a 17YO is 11/13 weeks?
You add a week for every year older than 17YO?
Therefore a 22YO (As Greening will be next season) will train at 16/18 weeks per pop?
He's two pops away from Sensational?
Therefore that's 32/36 Weeks on one net?
Two Batting nets give the equivalent of 1.6 weeks of training?
32/1.6 =20 Weeks? (22 on the pessimistic side)?
There's two weeks left of this season?
Next season is 18 weeks long?
Therefore, by the end of next season Greening will be Sensational! God knows about the Conc, that was just a guess!
Anyway Rodgie, if you've got so much time on your hands, how about helping a poor blind man find his potential playoff opponents?
There's a good lad! Trev
Takes 9-10 weeks for a primary pop on a 19 yr old, i would think it would be more then 11 for a 22-23 year old.I'd be more inclined to go with your figures Trev, I would reckon about 11 weeks a pop on two nets for 22-23 yo.
But you are wrongI'd be more inclined to go with your figures Trev, I would reckon about 11 weeks a pop on two nets for 22-23 yo.
Yeah about 9.9 it says on that keggut page as you can see most people just beleive it goes up about 1 week per season but it is actually 1.3Takes 9-10 weeks for a primary pop on a 19 yr old, i would think it would be more then 11 for a 22-23 year old.
Keggut even says that his site isnt spot on, 9.9 is just a rough estimate. 9-10 is better then saying 9.9.Yeah about 9.9 it says on that keggut page as you can see most people just beleive it goes up about 1 week per season but it is actually 1.3![]()
OK Maybe not decimal place but they would be in the vicinity. Paris,Coates,Mee and Bramble were all correct. They have been the only pops since I started looking at it.Haha. There's no way that guy has enough data to be able to predict training times to one decimal place.
Id say there is a bit of randomness in it too, look at Canning, he was a certain pop every week for the past 3 weeks or something. It looks to me as if Keggut stats are a bit long, i would go with Trev's numbers myself. They look a fair bit more accurate.
You could always go through the threads and see how long every player took to pop. Im sure you have nothing much better to do tbh.How about we do this I will set up a thread and we research it? To try get the best possible result?
tbh there's is quite crap I have found and anyway they only have 17yo,18 yo and 19 yo data.Meh, may as well just go to JFW, they've got more data than you'll be able to collect.
For a 17y/o
1 coach - 11/12 weeks, 2 coaches - 7-8 weeks, 3 coaches - 6 weeks.
18 y/o
1 coach 12 weeks, 2 coaches - 8-9 weeks, 3 coaches - 7 weeks.
19 y/o
1 coach 13 weeks, 2 coaches - 9 weeks, 3 coaches - 8 weeks.
Perhaps you could look at the specific threads where people talk about their players pops.tbh there's is quite crap I have found and anyway they only have 17yo,18 yo and 19 yo data.
Batting and Bowling for eg
Code:For a 17y/o 1 coach - 11/12 weeks, 2 coaches - 7-8 weeks, 3 coaches - 6 weeks. 18 y/o 1 coach 12 weeks, 2 coaches - 8-9 weeks, 3 coaches - 7 weeks. 19 y/o 1 coach 13 weeks, 2 coaches - 9 weeks, 3 coaches - 8 weeks.
