Crushing win today over the only human team in my league. Doesn't look like he's logged in for ages mind you:

BloodRed Hawks 86 all out (36.5)
C Singh Lali 3-15, A Ahmed 3-11
Zebras 90-0 (13.1)
M Bhutia 39*, J Lloyd 45*

Hmm interesting collapse in the game involving the team top in my league:

Failing Hazards were 170/4, all out for 208 and they are looking like they might get turned by a team who are nowhere near as good if there isn't another calypso.

In my game, it was a rout which I wasn't expecting:

Boys of the Shank - 192/10

Malik 4/38
Bardle 3/36
Liyanage 3/37

Boggles - 193/0 (31.1 overs)

Chanderpaul 114* (94) with 5 sixes which's most I've seen one of my players get.
Abdul kadir 76* (93)

Ratings have dropped due my two losses last week:

Boggles Boys of The Shank
Top Order: strong respectable
Middle Order: mediocre mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent mediocre
Spin Bowling: competent proficient
Fielding: feeble woeful

Hard and fast did the trick though no idea how I took 10 on it with my bowling attack. :D

End of Over 17: 107-1, runrate=6.29
Dyer 2-0-7-0
Pollard* 40 (51 balls)
Paris 15 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Findlay c. Keeley b. Warner 47 (FOW: 88/1)

Doing Very Well on TIE

My game is annoying, can't get the rubbish respectable out who has 19 off 63 and as predicted Cudworth is scoring at near a run a ball at the other end and can't get him out either. Hope overs 21-30 with Lisbie and Pace change things.

Pace bowling garbage but Lisbie has 4-3-1-2 so far including their gun all-rounder first over. But it's a green pitch with partially cloudy and humid weather so no idea what the par score is. They're 94-3 after 28.

At work, so can't really watch my game :(

Checked on my phone a while back, and I was 111/1, batting on a green track. Reed and McGregor both in and scoring nicely, with Perry (my sacrificial opener) out after a reasonably quick 20something.

I'm too scared to check again, what with the curse of the Nelson!

Mahindinho -

End of Over 30: 172-1, runrate=5.73
Regan 10-0-64-1
Mcgregor* 48 (65 balls)
Reed 88 (88 balls)
Last Wicket: Perry lbw b. Regan 29 (FOW: 48/1)

Reed finding some form, putting along very nicely.

Just for curiosity & conveniences sake, why 'Mahindinho'? And what's your actual name?

Thanks!

Real name = Mahinda

Decided to go all Brazilian* when I joined Hattrick, and it's kind of stuck. Not the most imaginative, but it does give a bit of camaraderie with my fellow 'inhos - I've met AndersAnderinho from HT, and a German Axelminho (in a hostel in Riga!), as well as bumping into Malcinho and a good few others online.

* In name, not shaving preference ;)

Hahaha, 'inhos, all great blokes. So you can't check your games at work? Do you work in a Chinese iPod factory or something? :p

Well my opposition are in collapse mode somewhat (kinda expected that to happen), they've lost 4 wickets for 1 run and are 98-7.

BARNES OUT
I won a game :D

Next week I'm playing another side I should beat (lost to them last time thanks to a 50+ run partnership between their 9 & 10 :@) next week so I might even be able to scrape out 6th place in my league this season.

Really nice win against the top of the table team. Means 3 teams now with 1 loss. I've got the best NRR though I think. Hitish was poor due to his PFL with 10 overs 2/58 and 2 off 4 balls. Blatherwick was good though.

Matsburg C C 7/252 (50 ovs)
Moodley 1/14 (10, 6 maidens)
Hitish 2/58 (10)

Roar CC 3/254 (45.2 ovs)
Blatherwick 106 (119)
Moodley 79* (83)
Rampaul 51 (62)

Roar CC win by 7 wickets

Was playing the side coming 4th and i was expecting a pretty close game, as i was TIE. Rolled them pretty easierly, with my two rookies having their best game with the ball and chased it with with 10 wickets in hand.

Mcluachan 65(120), Dowdall 2/31(8), Jeithoon 2/38(10), Muralitharan 2/28(10), Baptiste3/24(8)

Jaffna Jets - 0/156 (25.4)
Ferrier 85(73) MOTM, Clayton 68(83)

What ratings did you get playing Hitish?

Quite pleased with my team's efforts. Managed to bat through the 2 bowlers who between them had something like 60 wickets @ 6 this season without too many losses, and am looking at possibly 240 or so with a bit of luck in the last 4 overs.

Wow, Sandwith dominating in Mahinda's game -

End of Over 48: 294-3, runrate=6.13
Gore 9-0-78-0
Verma* 8 (8 balls)
Sandwith 60 (33 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcgregor c. Ball b. Dinning 80 (FOW: 262/3)

Will make 310ish from here.

Yeah, and the rest :)

My opponents have just the one good player - Cahill I think's his name - an England bat, with stupidly high BTR. He'll probably bat through the innings and (hopefully!) run out of partners.

Rob - thanks again. My workplace has in the last couple of years adopted an increasingly draconian IT policy - every so often, various sites get blocked. First Hattrick, which I was mighty pissed off about, and then Battrick. Anything to do with beer also gets blocked now - as an active CAMRA member who organises lots of beery outings, this is not exactly helpful.

All very annoying - I'm not sure why, but forums don't seem to get blocked. Give it time...

Next: The Main Event

Gareth Bardle and 10 wickets. Can he?
