Starting to get my feet in div 3. Should be atleast in 4th place on the table after this round n possibly 3rd depending on results. Westhead was in devastating form today taking a career best 9 for 24. It was a pretty ugly display by my batsmen scoring like they were playing a FC match, but they got the job done.
PenguinBoy C.C. 10/61 19.5 overs
Westhead 9/24 MOTM
Gus 1/36

College Dropouts 1/62 21.2 overs
Vincent 31 (65) not out
Kennedy 16 (28) not out

Ladies and gentleman, I think we may have a record.

End of Over 7: 17-9, runrate=2.43, reqrunrate=8.35 (375-2)
Tuck 4-2-8-6
Tiisetso* 0 (1 balls)
Beck 1 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Campbell b. Tuck 0 (FOW: 16/9)

Edit: Tiisetso just hit a 4 then a 3. What's the lowest score from a CW Battrick team?

In my defence, I didn't give them match orders...:p

Further edit:

And that's the end of the match. tims XI won by 351 runs.
tims XI 375-2
Tawonga Tigers 24-10

Won the toss, made 185 in 40 overs, in reply 'BUCK's 11' are 0/86 after 15 overs.

In other words I'm screwed.

Haha I didn't think it was that bad. Anyway,on my way to a regulation TIE win:

End of Over 10: 72-0, runrate=7.20, reqrunrate=2.23 (160-10)
Bhana 5-0-30-0
Gray* 24 (29 balls)
Mcmillan 46 (32 balls)

Bowling was good. Rayno finished with 9.2-1-24-4, Mills 10-2-30-2 and Mcmillan 10-0-25-1.

Going suprisingly well against Infin's side, managed to only let Stanton get 2 wickets and took 32 runs from his 10 overs:

End of Over 40: 225-3, runrate=5.63, reqrunrate=6.80 (292-5)
Turnbull 10-0-61-0
Disley* 9 (17 balls)
Tucker 5 (5 balls)

Should be a close one unless i collapse in a heap which is possible

End of Over 42: 184-8, runrate=4.38, reqrunrate=13.63 (292-5)
Barry 9-1-27-4
Meyer* 34 (36 balls)
Savage 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Groves b. Barry 0 (FOW: 184/8)

Bloody Collapses!!!

PHP:
41.6 W Barry to Groves
A beautiful reverse swinger by Barry has left Groves's bat swinging at thin air. Middle stump takes off like a rocket and hits Francis in the leg. Ouch. Or, should I say, Out-ch. Sorry, I'll get my coat.
41.5 W Barry to Walton
Blinding catch in the gully by Carlsen m - that was hit hard and low
41.4 W Barry to Taylor
What a gem. That's pitched about a foot outside off and come back sharply through a massive gate taking the off stump with it.
This over about sums up my day, just about to go down in another thrasing :(

Seasons end, and a relegation back to div V cannot come quick enough for Clapo's XI :(

Beat Demeza's side today, with a quality chase. Won with 10 balls to spare chasing 280, despite needing 37 off the last 5 overs. Nuttall finished unbeaten on 65 off 62.

End of Over 49: 293-4, runrate=5.98

6.6 4	Lakeman to Chanderpaul
That wasn't even a bad ball, it was just a super shot!
6.5 4	Lakeman to Chanderpaul
I’ll be surprised if he plays a shot as good as that again this season.
6.4 4	Lakeman to Chanderpaul
Chanderpaul really tees up there! Right out of the screws.
6.3 6	Lakeman to Chanderpaul
Oh dear, buffet bowling from Lakeman. Chanderpaul helps himself to a maximum with glee. Rampaul is stationed on the boundary but all he can do is watch it pass overhead and into the crowd. Terrible bowling.
Ka-ching.

Wow, stoked with my result in my match

Magical Ponies 3/311
Kilkenny 111 (115), Griffin 89 (79), Farmer 45* (35)

BushRangers 282 (48.2)
Fernando 6/87 (9.2), Erasmus 1/42 (9), Canning 1/51 (10)

Kilkenny opened, and did a surprisingly good job, despite his stamina (woeful). Bowling was fairly rubbish, with that guy with wage of 437 hitting 58 before Canning finally got him. There was a massive BT collapse, again affected by Fernando, as they went from 2/253 to all out for 282. Numbers 5-10 scored 7 runs combined, though number 11 hit himself 13. Looking at the ratings and result, seemed like it was a good idea to PAN it.

Middle Order: feeble competent
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent respectable
Spin Bowling: mediocre competent

Its been like 3 hours and non of matches in Sri Lanka have started. I noticed the matches in India have started, so is it just Sri Lanka, or is Pakistan having the same problem?

It's being very slow for me but that's just the BT Friday feeling as usual I suspect.
