Pretty happy with that, as they're the team that came 2nd last season and everyone chipped in. Gray took 5 catches & a stumping - so solid effort from him Ralph was solid with 2/39 - though he did remove two of his top three batsmen. Got pretty good ratings too, though I think the top order is close to Superb and the seam close to Strong.

It's a green pitch, and my opponents managed Superb/Strong batting in their last match. I usually pull Superb/Resp, but am hoping for Superb/Prof now that I've got a Strong #5.

Well, I'd have hoped for 230-250, so I'm not too unhappy, considering the very poor start. Yet again, my tail wagged nicely, adding at least 50 runs for the last four wickets.

So...it's a Superb/Strong batting lineup against Quality seam and Wonderful spin, on a green pitch. This could be pretty close!

Fairly ****. Feeble IIRC, but I'd have thought that should be enough for a spinner.

Pah, I got proficient first couple of games with a strong/wonderful and prof/exceptional.

Oh and I managed a whole one wicket in the first 40 overs this time, Howlett (comp-resp) took it...

And now they take 2 wickets with their competent seam in the first 20 against my quality top order. Sod off.

Happy to see Jeithoon and Murali leading the bowling attack. Clayton once again uppped his HS, his first ever league/cup hundred must be pretty soon. Im going TIE when i play these guys next time, not as good as i thought they were. We had some close games last season, but with my training program taking shape, the gap has widen a lot, a very good sign.

It's quite funny actually; usually the bot teams don't even play what should be their best bowlers. I saw one the other day that had a 20k BTR bowler and a 10k one (even on worthless form), and yet the five bowlers it sticks out were all <3k, and none of the guns played at all. Dunno what passes for "AI" with those teams, but I think it involves some yoghurt that's been left in the sun for a bit.
