Could you provide a link to the video?
Here. They are discussing Gilly vs Flower and he is asked who is the better keeper.

I respect Jarrod's view moreso than other pundits (though in this case they are picking a lefties XI and didn't even mention Graeme Pollock, unforgivable).

First off, that discussion highlighted a lot, and not much of it positive tbh.

Anyone who watched those guys with the gloves and says Flower was better, loses any credibility.

The rest of the discussion, from the very begining really, wasn't much better.

Jarrod doesn't give extra points for keepers being athletic per se. Emphasizes keepers being clean and technically sound. Rates Taylor ahead of Knott I think. Also suggest Les Ames should be rated Gilly level as he had better keeper skills.

I'll be honest, I have no recollection of Flower as keeper but if he was the same level as Gilly it's an interesting conversation then

It's one thing to claim Flower wasn't a bad keeper. It's another to claim he was better than Gilchrist (who was genuinely excellent with the gloves). It's one of the worst cricket opinions I've ever heard.
Was Flower an average keeper? Did he drop many?

Taylor over Knott wasn't a bold take, Ames didn't especially have a great record vs his one valid opponent of his time, but sure.

But he wasn't nearly on the same level as Gilly.
