I fully agree. having just 0.41 WPM hardly qualifies him as a Test All Rounder. After all, we are judging on performances in Tests otherwise the likes of Clive Rice would be highly rated.

I thought about Goddard for spot #6 because he was more rounded, but I'd rather have Hammond in my side even if he had to be used as a frontline bowler so I changed my mind. I can see eventually Malcolm Marshall ending up in my votes too.

Yeah that is outstanding isnt it...if we were to look at it as an average for wickets taken per match - 5.1 wickets taken. Seriously very very good. Awesome player.

Yes of course I know NZ beat them in 1979/80. What I meant was pak came closest to beating them in the famous 15 year unbeaten streak after that .
In the 1988 series they had WI down on the mat, it took a jammy tailender knock from patterson (iirc) and some dodgy home umpiring for wi to even draw the series.

Not really as he's about to be voted 4th best allrounder of all-time? I don't pick him this high as he only has 1.75 wpm, so I consider there are more balanced allrounders out there that can win a series with bat or ball
