does free state know about this lol!
unfortunately u can add money to a trade though, it still has to be a swap and u pay the player 10% of his value, so in reality all the money in the world wont help u get hussey unless dave wants to trade him...

Just wondering when retirements and replacement rookies are set to be named. No hurry, if it's round 10 it's round 10, just wondering.....

it probably wont be too far away, the priority at the moment is to make sure everyone understands the finance system and all that information is available to everyone. then the other things like that will get looked that.

Once I've got this lot out of the way I'll look into it - that'll be more than likely a couple of weeks though - exam time!

my extra rookies aren't thatr great. And having put over half my budget on them, people must have put quite a bit in to get 5, but i think it'll be better next year when you get a feel for what you need in what places etc. at least i think i have two from 4 that are ok and you cant keep more than 2 anyway. Managed to get my head round the finance a bit now, and with the expected squad i have i think ill select, i should have a decent amount of cash for the draft.

Can I still get a bunch of sh!t rookies drop them all and keep another 10 from my squad?
yep the obvious downside for that would be you would lose all the money you already allocated to youth..

which i really think you should be able to refund it for signing fees.. in real terms thats what would happen..

okay i got a question.. i think i might have answered it too..

i gat my youth budget on 450g.. now one of my high class rookies costs 367g alone.. so that means i cant afford to sign any more right?.. because that would go over my budget obviously.. so can i use the remainder on signing on fees or physio for the season?

they may be rewarded for that with lots of injuries ;)

Your youth budget is only set to generate youth players.

To sign that player you will be using the wage budget at the end of the season (ie the salary cap)

Actually, 2 is no longer the limit for keeping!
marc stop confusing us, this is what the email said:

A brief reminder that these players are not available to trade, and this value is only the value if you decide to keep them – if released to the draft, then the wages will go up.

You will be able to retain a maximum of 2 of the above players
please make up your mind!
