Adam Voges average watch

Well if Gurasinha can rank higher than Bradman when he has an average of 37 vs 95, I'm sorry that you think this sites methodology is sound...obviously runs scored and average achieved are low factors on this site so not sure what other more significant factors come into a batsman's rating?
It looks like you didn't bother to check what caused Gurusinha's early current rating to spike. The most common criticism that I get for rating Test batting performances is that I give too much value to runs, so your comment makes me think I've adjusted well enough in that department.

Gurusinha made 52 out of a team total of 82 early in his career - just to give you an idea of why some innings are rated higher than a big hundred.

OMG, so this is your website...and because someone scored 52 out of 82 he deserves to be rated above Bradman...you're delusional

Edit: Asking the Mods, is promoting this crap website with flawed ratings not spam, I'm happy for all my posts linked to this rubbish being deleted

Yeah, but that could also mean the rest of his team just batting like *** in that innings & that's hardly Bradman's fault is it.

I get there's nuances, but 37 plays 95 suggests a fairly serious flaw in the existing method. I'd twiddle a few knobs.

We have asked him to only bring up the website in its own dedicated thread to it to stop this sort of thing. I thought the original post he made in here was an interesting enough exception to that rule but the subsequent discussion about the methodology has made me think I was wrong on that, so I might move the discussion into his thread if it goes much longer.

In order to keep the Voges vs Bradman vs Hussey thread realistic, I would hope that all the other website links are moved to their appropriate place...just my opinion, but happy with not commenting further on specific websites in this thread if not the case

Now that we are in Hussey vs Voges territory (unless some else has a record as good), Hussey had 1730 runs @ 82.38 after 27 innings, so Voges needs 198 runs with once out to equal in the next Test...not likely given current series form

This just shows how exceptional Bradman was to keep his record for his entire career
