Awesome forward linem and the midfield is obviously exciting.

Key position backmen needed still, despite how far Harris has come in the past 2 years.

To be honest, Harris went backwards last year. His last half of he year was terrible, needs to be good next year.

I get the feeling this is the year Cameron Wght makes the step up as a really good centre half back.

Tarrant and Pick 42 to Fremantle
Polak and Pick 13 to Richmond
Medhurst and Pick 8 to Collingwood

Freo Gain - Tarrant, Pick 42. Lose - Pick 13, Polak, Medhurst
Richmond Gain - Polak and Pick 13. Lose - Pick 8
Collingwood Gain - Medhurst and Pick 8. Lose - Tarrant, Pick 42.

Freo shafted gain. :/

They deserve everything they get then. You don't want players at the cub who don't want to be there, I hope Thornton walks out and they get **** all.

They won't redraft him.

Spida to Sydney for Pick 33. Steal.

Trade Period Now Over.

EDIT: Just kidding, Solomon and a fourth rounder at the death for Freo's two third round draft picks.

Grant's a handy guy to be able to throw back...

Tarrant will be very good for Freo, he can present on the wings to allow Pavlich to play deeper in the forward line where the Pav can have a greater impact. Polak and Medhurst are of little use to them, and pick 13 could turn out to be a mega dud anyway, it's the risk you take once you enter your premiership window.

Solomon I don't think was a good move, the blokes knees are shot, and he will only keep someone like Marcus Drum out of the team.

Freo to be bottom of the ladder in three years. How old is their list going to be now?!
I disagree. In three years time Pavlich will be in his prime, Schammer, Crowley, Johnson, Mundy, Sandilands will all be close to it, and only Bell, McManus, Cook, Parker and possibly Solomon will be gone.

Tarrant will be good as a third tall for Freo, a forward line like this;

FF: Longmuir - Murphy - Farmer
HF: Crowley - Pavlich - Tarrant

That will be ****ing hard to match up on.

Saints basically traded Pick 43 for Gardiner and Birss, what a steal. Dogs traded Pick 29 for McDougall and Akermanis discounting reshuffling of the order. They are some good value trades.

I'm a bit iffy about this trade. While Solomon can really provide some grunt to their backline (he an Grover are going to be a good combination), his knees on Subi Oval are going to be a problem. Just not quick enough.

yeha iagree fro will be awesome this year with tarrant... if firing they have players that are still developing i guess next year is the year they'll turn to draft youth again

Happy with getting Polak, and very happy the trade had nothing to do with getting rid of Tuck.

Yep no doubt, love Howat as he can hit a target. Something the Tigers need. Hopefully he matures into a good player. He looks the goods.

Will be interesting to see who Collingwood get at 8. I don't think the difference between 8 and 13 will be too big though, so I think Richmond did well with the Polak draft.

Freo and the Doggies though, jeez they've made their intentions clear. They're going all out this year.
